Maybe not this time. I'll definitely be on the list for the next perfume outing. Let me know if you ladies find something interesting there.

    Hihi,

    Reporting back from Escentials:

My fav and potentially 'buyable' scents are:

    MPG Sanguine Muskisser(forgot the spelling)
Caron Eau de Rocielle(again forgot the spelling)
and what is the 2nd Diptyque one that Jean showed us?? That one is nice too

These will be in my future purchase list. Tempted to go for a fragrance experience soon because it seems like the one at Raffles is more thorough than the one at Tangs. Lemming to go for it soon But I think3-4 in a group would be just nice

BTW Dimples, the Pork Chop at Chin Chin is THE BEST!!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself last night. Cheap food and enjoyable company one can't ask for more than that!

Nice to see new faces too  Kim and Cindy!!

    On my to-buy list:

Diptyque candles but these I would only buy when I get my new place

Diptyque Olene (first note of Jasmine really put me off but when it dried down, I it a lot; a very beautifully scented floral)

L'Artisan Jour de Fete (okay, okay, I slept on it and I'm still love with this scent. It reminds me of the Blue Jeans scent from MMU which I love). Heck if it doesn't last on me. I like it and I want it

It's Sanguine Muskissime and Fleur De Rocaille if I'm not wrong.

Hi girls, truly enjoy the session on fragrance testing yesterday but was disppointed that Spring Flower by Creed was out of stock..... Can't wait for the stock to come in. Thought that I can avoid spending there but just happen to chance upon the Spring Flower candle when we're about to leave......and really the smell to bits.

Sure girl! Jean is such a great girl! I would love to see her again. When do you want to go?

Jean sent me an email telling me how much she enjoyed having us. She also attached infomation about the Sanguine. She's super lovely isn't she?

    Hey all,

I have to say this again..echoing Sweetmango, let's have more outings together. It's amazing how vibe-y the atmosphere was. I enjoyed myself so much just yakking away on Friday.

Dolphin-> Time to get a new perfume for yourself. Honestly, I swear Camelia Chinois smell so good on you I thought I smell milkiness in Sanguine on you.

Saresha-> Go for Dzing! Go for Dzing! I can make you a sample so that you can wear it and decide if you like it enough to buy

Kim and gf-> Glad you like Spring Flowers Spring Flower is perpetually out of stock. Have you reserve one so that they can call you once the stocks are in?

Atypical-> NO REGRETS OK?? Sanguine is beautiful and it's so YOU!

Sweetmango-> I love the way you describe Tea for Two A man wearing this before going to a nightclub. I remember how much you praise Caron Fleurs de Rocaille and I will remember to go sniff how freesia smells like

Paphio-> You got me interested in that rose scent from L'Artisan. It's Voleur de Roses, ya? Too bad Escentials doesn't stock it. Thanks for the yoga information

Vix-> WOW! I must say that you are one hard nut to crack Seems like Parfum di Nicolai is the only one that sits so well on you. I love that scent on you It's so horrible on me.

Mich-> Can I compliment on your lovely legs again? Ooops...we are supposed to be talking about perfumes. Ermmm.. didn't pay attention to what you like. So sorry...

Teiko-> IIRC, the second Diptyque fragrance is L'Ombre Dans L'Eau. Can make you a sample if you like

Karen-> Hope you and your friend will enjoy the books. Will PM you the a/c no soon. Get the Diptyque's candles for your home...don't have to wait for a new home!

All in all, I must say that Jean reminded me of some brands that I've yet to seriously check out yet. I'm pretty excited with the new fragrances that she described to me! I was hoping that Escentials will stock Creed Fleur de Rose Bulgarie but sadly they don't. Wanted to check out this scent so that I can report this to dear Dimples. Remember how she loves rose scent, not forgetting Stella

Thanks, Rachel! Unfortunately, it turned rather ordinary after an hour or so on me So disappointed! I really liked Diptyque Olene though.

rac, you can say that again.

but once i find a scent i like, i'm stuck to it!
of all the scents we tried that day, only 3 interest me faintly:

    * Chasse du Papillion - don't really dig the tuberose and ylang ylang notes though.
    * Petite Cherie - nice and sweet. but rather girly 'gu-niang'
    * Eau du Sud - probably like this the best...but find it a tad too 'sharp' on my nose.
    * le chevre???? (the goatgrass one)

    yep. i'm a self-declared fusspot. *nods*

Thanks, Rac. I think someone sent me the Creed Fleur de Rose Bulgarie before. Somehow, I didn't remember it worked for me. Probably I should try it again.

Come to think of it, I put my name down for Creed Silver Water more than 3 months back. Still no news of that.

Saresha-> A pity that Dzing doesn't work for you. Never mind, I'm sure there are still many leathery scent out there!

Vix-> Eau du Sud is one AG that I love. Will pass you some samples the next time round we get to meet up

Dimple-> Do report on the Creed I'm always curious with fragrances that we can't get in Sg.

I think Escentials take forever to get the Creed to come in too. My gf reserved a Spring Flower as well a few months back. It's worth the wait I'm loving my Silver Mountain Water too!
