Better to get perfume at Sephora or at the counter itself?

I think some brands would give you gift with purchase.. so is it better to purchase over the counter? As there are no goodies with Sephora right?

it really depends. if you are price sensitive, you might want to try online stores. if you are not, probably you would like to go to those counters. the difference in price can buy you lots of those gifts that they are giving away.

Sephora sells at counter price.

The advantage is that you get to test out the fragrances at your own convinence and the prices are listed there clearly.

Sometimes Sephora do have similar promotions to those at the counters also. They may also have their own in house promotions like vouchers with purchase?

So it's really up to personal preference whether to get from counters or sephora because sometimes going to counters can be quite stressful.

thanks! I have an isetan card so maybe it's better for me to get at the counters.. I'll check with sephora if they have any vouchers given first!

It is basically the same. Except when you have discount vouchers or privillege cards. Of course, you might want to consider getting them online as well. They provide same quality products at a better price.

I bought a Piccola Isolina over the counter. I like the experience of trying out the product first and getting it immediately after payment. Heh.

it really depends on ur preference. some people like to touch the product before buying it. some prefer convenience and would try online stores. i prefer online cos purchasing particular items are really like monthly routines. haha.. no point shopping at the same place so many times a year.

Hmm i prefer buying over the counter. i can straight away get and use it . i bought piccola perfume oil over the counter at sephora and immediately used it on the spot. lol.

Yeah same here.. I prefer buying over the counter too.. Cause usually the sales person will give me new samples to try too

as far as I' m aware, sephora's promotion is as such that upon spending above $150 on single receipt, you'd recieve two $10 vouchers, essentially adding up to $20. but the $20 can only be used on certain brands at sephora, with limit to one $10 voucher to offset per item purchase.

i bought Chloe perfume there last week, and used one of my $10 vouchers to offset an item i bought from the Too Faced range.

But i heard that the vouchers can't be used to buy perfumes. HTHS.
