Scents That Make You Feel You Are In...

From the time I have started using fragrances, regardless whether full size bottles or just sample vials, I'm now doing a compilation of all the fragrances I have tried all these years that makes me feel like I'm: at a beach in June/July hot weather, or at some cold places maybe end of the year or winter in overseas since Singapore doesn't have 4 seasons.

As far as my memory can recall, below are some of the fragrances I have used and like and could associate with occasions/places/warm or cool weather I have been or feel like I want to be at these places...

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio - gives me a lazy/relaxed feel like I'm at a quiet, sunny, smooth sandy beach in June/July

Davidoff Cool Water For Ladies - feels like lying on the shallow waters with cool, sea waves washing over my body (got influenced by their ad which is exactly what I'm describing haha )

Estee Lauder White Linen Breeze - another fragrance for a beach feel. I will feel like wearing this when I'm wearing light fabric with the gentle breeze blowing on my clothes and hair...

Escada Moon Sparkle (ok I know there are some cotters who doesn't like this fragrance.. ) - feels like relaxing out on a beach chair with the cool evening breeze or can be used as partying out on the beach in the evening (something like Ibiza feel)

Hermes Faubourg 24 & Guerlain Champs Elysees - gives me the feeling I'm walking down the streets on a cold winter day (which is why I brought these 2 fragrance sample vials along when I was travelling overseas in winter)

Estee Lauder Pleasures - using this floral fragrance makes me feel I'm in a garden full of flowers in spring

Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue - definitely will use this if I'm working in Shenton Way/Raffles Place area wearing OL power suit

Eau Sauvage - I feel like I'm an established old man

Diorissimo - Spring early morning and I'm surrounded by white flowers still wet with dew...

Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline - pretty lady that's classy

Bvlgari Omnia - seduction mood

Bvlgari Black - Blade Runner's dystopia, stuck in the rain and going on a mission somewhere...

YSL Opium - dreamland or just about to fall asleep

Gucci Rush - lollipop land. It just smells like sweet to me.

CK One - 1990s.

Hugo Boss Essence de Femme EDP - In love, feminine, and in control. A favourite.

Burberry Brit Sheer - Something light and happy for everyday wear

YSL Babydoll - Flirty and cute. But gets a little cloying.

Givenchy Very Irresistable - Serious yet playful.. And very very womanly. One of my favourites.

Bvlgari Rose Essentialle - Something good for work. Light yet sweet.

SJP Lovely - Night out with my boyfriend. Or clubbing nights.

Vera Wang Princess - Good scent for when you are trying to impress a special someone.

Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege / Anna Sui Secret Wish - My favourite no-brainer scent. Just spritz and go.

Kenzo Summer - Reminds me of the days I spent at the beach... Tanning like no tomorrow. The darker the better. With all my closest best friends.

Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise - Very sweet and alluring scent. Something I'd wear on a fun day out.

Forever and Ever Dior - I never wear this anymore because it reminds me of the days with my physically-abusive ex. There's still 65% left

Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto - When I need something heavier yet informal.

escada moonsparkle perfume makes me feel like i'm on the beach! Fresh and sweet.
chloe is a very sexy seducing scent, i wear that on my date out with someone i fancy.
