Recommend Perfume for elderly ladies (>55yrs)

planning to get a gift.

any recommendations for more elderly women? what kind of perfume do they like? I know it varies with individual taste but what is the more popular ones amongst them?

another thought is to get the minature bottles set from DFS so that there is variety. what brand shall I get?

but it looks very "grandmotherly"

maybe also Chanel No. 5?
