would like to check with u gals whether the shop Dollars & Scents at LP is reliable?
i saw from other thread tt there r reliable while some say they are not.

Depends on how much you really trust them and if you are able to find out their distributors. I've heard that theirs are parallel imports.

I always buy from them. Even if they are parallel imports, it still came from the same factory, same batch so is fine for me.

// imports are GENUINE goods BUT they don't go through the proper distribution channels and how the retailer actually gets their hands on the goods may be illegal. // imports are actually what we call "grey" products... These goods are imported from another country without the consent of the intellectual property (IP) owner , so yeah.. it isn't exactly "safe".

But it's really just perception - whether or not you are the kind who go for super cheap products even though they are grey products, or you'd rather pay a little more for the non-// imported goods. Oh if i'm not wrong.. // imported goods come with no warranties =)

And by the way, stilangel & inspiration.... just to find out.. when you buy the perfumes from D&S, on the boxes.... are there agent stickers? if there are....what are the agent names?

I don't think they come from the same factory as those that are non-// imports though... hmm not sure . oh wells

I always buy my perfumes from them. Cheap n geniune.

Yesterday was my first purchase with them and I'm not very impressed.

The purchase was made at the basement stall, which is more stocked up and majority of perfumes is kept behind counters. I noticed that the wrapper of the perfume that she passed me was opened at the bottom and requested for a new piece, the person just muttered it was new but went on to do a mini "search" in the same area. I suspected that she didn't change a new one for me as she didn't show me the item but just proceeded to the counter and asked me to pay.

After the purchase, I took out the item and realised that the wrapper was literally scotched taped together. When I opened the box, there was a perfume scent and the perfume sprayed out on the first pump (some cotters mentioned that new perfumes would have to be pump a few times to pump up the perfume?)

While the perfume is probably authentic, personally I feel that there's a lack of honesty.

Did anyone buy Incanto Heaven from them before?? The perfume did not last more than an hour after spraying. I wonder is it authentic anot.
