i also had a similar experience with flower by kenzo.
bought in HK.. come back.. the fragrance was barely there, one bottle, used for about 10+ times... and its gone. cause it just takes too much to smell good.
I tend to splash out a bit when it comes to perfumes. I prefer to buy slightly more expensive perfumes not for the brand, but because it tends to last longer. Im currently using Piccola Perfume Oil...just a small dab lasts me the whole day. It smells good too! A bit ex though at $60. But it's good quality. My husband likes the scent too so that's a plus!
Hey Kenzo Flower is quite nice and lasting. Try the EDP. It will give you a more lasting smell.
i use piccola perfume oil too! which version do you use linda? i think the price mainly lies on the packaging and advertising spent on the product. sometimes, can find quality perfumes at cheap price. but im hooked to isolina piccola perfume oil so i dont mind paying a bit more for it.
kenzo flower is nice and i got the 100ml bottle as i really liked the flowery scent. however now i find it too overwhelming for me with the strong flowery smell. and its so lasting that i got a little sick of the scent...
then maybe it's time to change a perfume vainies. you need a makeover! haha.. try getting 2 different perfumes and use them interchangeably.
ya, its been almost half a year since i touched my kenzo flower. at times when i recall having it and wanting to use it, i take a sniff at it but the smell is still too overwhelming... even though i have not used it for 6 mths already... i guess i am fickle minded?
now i have other fragrances which i like to rotate since i use perfume on a daily basis, and i am loving some more than the others...![]()
I sort of feel the costlier perfumes smell a little more complex, but maybe it's the types that I've tried.
u're right to some extend. more expensive perfumes smell more complex.![]()
