Yup, I do...
Perfume has always been my weakness. I can't wear the same fragrance for consecutive 2 days. I have so many bottles now (think maybe 50) and I have not finished using any bottle except just one-Lancome Miracle.
But I have curbed my spending on fragrances. I mostly receive them as gifts now![]()
i get sick of a scent very easily, so i rotate my perfumes too, or as and when my mood suits me, i'll use different perfumes. which explains why i collect perfumes i guess :X
i havent finished a single bottle of perfume yet either.
It takes me forever to finish a bottle... So I rotate them too. I have a specific fragrance I use for work and others that I use depending on how I feel that day so I don't get tired of a particular scent too soon
Guy's perfumes though, I love smelling my favourite scents on my guy over and over again... It helps that my SO rotates his scents too![]()
i rotate my perfumes too. Never really finish any of them except for lancome's oui. sometimes, i will pass the ones that i don't fancy anymore to my mum. so i can have an excuse to buy new ones. haha..
Will perfume actually spoil when you keep them for too long?
I personally use one scent at a time, currently using Gucci Envy Me. But I bought JLo Glow and I realised I am using JLo more because I don't want to finish my Envy Me. Sounds silly haha..
perfumes will turn rancid after too long... if you notice, the perfumes will actually turn a deeper yellow after you keep them for a long time and the smell will change.. and if you notice, if you actually smell all the OLD perfumes you have kept for awhile will have the same smell... i think its the degradation of the perfume oils over time thus creating a HORRID HORRID HORRID smell! Ew! I heard to make your perfumes last longer is to keep them in the fridge. How to keep them in the fridge with my sambal belacan and chinchalok side by side??? LOL!!!

this is very funny!!! hahahaha
Heh,
Actually, I keep my perfumes (and skincare stuff) in the fridge. They don't perfume the food, but look very WEIRD next to chicken breastsOccasionally, my creams get confused with tubes of sauces. Ah.
its really gonna be really bad (in terms of smell and also erm. sight?.. more to wired really) looking at the fridge with fragrance bottles and Thai sweet chilli sauce, bottled sambal belacan and chinchalok all in one row. Esp if you have a grandma who dominates and stuffs the fridge like there is gonna be war tomorrow.... EVEN worse still... your maid squirts your cold cream into the pot of coffee thinking its condensed milk!![]()
i am soooo gonna smell like fermented fish if i ever put my perfumes or facial masks in there!
hehehe i'm guilty of using the same bottle of perfume until it runs out...
even though i already don't buy big bottles they still take forever to finish! and i don't want them to turn rancid so i choose not to open them. OR is it a misconception on my part that as long as the bottles are not opened the scent can be retained for a longer period??
hmmm.. but i love Bvlgari's perfume for men (the box is greyish green in colour) that i don't really get sick of it at all. planning to get it for myself when i finally finish the rest of whatever other scents i have... :p
what do you girls do when you get sick of a particular scent? use it as an air-freshener? haha. i am so sick of my christian dior addict and it has been collecting dust on my dressing table for like, forever. it's such a waste to dump it, i have no one else to give it to (my mum got one for herself and one for me).. and my sisters do not even use perfumes.
why dont you try selling it cheaply? i actually use some of my perfumes as "air fresheners" or to randomly spray my shoes, etc
otherwise just cap it securely and keep it for a while, you might like it again one day![]()
