kindly share your experience, do you think the certification matters?

i graduated with my bachelor's not long ago, but am considering a masters.
sister with masters reckon it is not necessary (but maybe cos she alr has it, less appreciative)
dad says degree is getting common and asks me to upgrade myself - while working part time that is. but i wish to be able to do it overseas, especially since it will be my last few chances to study overseas.

hmm, then other people think work experience is what matters ultimately.
