My first degree was not business related and I am very new to the world of finance and accountancy. To fit my work requirements, I am thinking of doing a PT post-graduate diploma in Accountancy offered by UOL -LSE. I am also thinking of attending classes with Singapore Accountancy Academy SAA to prepare for the UOL-LSE examinations.
To people who did a post grad dip with UOL, what was your experience preparing and sitting for the exams?
1. Where did you take your preparatory course - SIM or SAA?
2. What was your experience in terms of faculty, teaching/learning techniques, class size, class environment, contact hours, revision etc?
3. Were the intensive revision hours and mock exams helpful?
4. What was one thing you liked and one thing you wish to change about your learning experience with SIM/SAA?
5. Did the post grad dip give you a "leg up" after graduation?
6. Would you recommend the post grad dip (and with which tuition provider SIM or SAA) to someone that has zero knowledge but interest in finance/accountancy/business?
Many thanks for your help!![]()
seriously, it would be better for you to take acca instead, but acca is freaking tough but its really better for you to enter into the accounting world
