graduates of UOl banking n finance,what are the job prospect?

Most of my friends from b&f ended up doing sales in banks.
only one of my friend is lucky enough to get an analyst job.

what are the job prospect in doing this degree?

I graduated from UOL's B.Sc B&F degree program in 2008, afterwhich i proceeded to the UK to do my Masters in financial markets. Just graduated in March 2010.

After job-hunting for the past few months, i've just been offered a position in Merill Lynch.. (sorry, i won't be revealing more details). It's not an analyst position, but there is scope for moving up the corporate ladder.

I think your job prospects depend on how you want to look at it. I've been offered sales positions in banks, financial planners, insurance sales etc, so many times but i chose to think i can do better with my qualifications and continued my job hunt. It's not easy, but do the best you can right now by getting good grades.. There is definitely better prospects for those who get first and second upper class honors, versus those with third class honors or even just a pass.

would u mind sharing yr experience in uk? how long & how much u paid for your master. did u apply the merill lynch job through friends or their online graduate programme? TIA!

Just took my last papers in MAY. Hoping to get a job soon. I don't wish to do sales, and i see alot of jobs requires prior experiences!
