Anyone take IELTS before? Is it easy, are the speaking conduct by the local or UK examiner and also can i ask does anyone successfully waive the requirement for IELTS if a uni wants you to take, provided that you score not bad for the english in your diploma?

hi madangel, how many examiner are there for the speaking test? I kinda worried about it as i may not speak that well of the english....and also when i extremely nervous, i might rattle on and on... with er, well, ah, etc....btw, are you taking the academy or general training modules?

haha really? But still i worried about how i did. I wonder if their marking is on the stern side although they can be friendly on the outside...between, can give clue what they asked you during the interview? Can i give my own words or that have to prepare it like those wordly and lengthly one? Is there an observer beside the one who is the examiner?

there will be onli 1 examiner inside but tey will not mark u on the spot. Rem to speak loud n clear cos tey are recording it down for marking.
My speaking session was started off with *** kinda of sound i like n dislike, why. 2nd part i was given 1-2mins to think of the question given. The question is to ask me **** about the classroom i used to study in. u got 2-3mins to speak on ur own. 3rd was to *** abt your opinion. Rem to give the ans in sentence and use the correct tenses

Just relax, don't speak too fast nor too slow. It's better if you can arrange the sentences in your mind before you speak, grammar is important. Avoid pausing (using "err, hmm") too much. If the examiner ask you about something you're not really familiar you better tell him/her so the question can be changed.
