Hi there,

anyone taken CL1101E or Se1101E before? I'm kinda hesitate between these 2 modules as I need to fulfil my asian studies requirement.

Heard the workload for SE is quite heavy. How about CL? I didn't take A lvl Chinese as I'm from Poly. But got a distinction in O lvl chinese.

Pls advise.

took CL1101E a couple of years back. Essentially, all I can say that it is the Chinese version of EL1101E, not sure if you took that.
A lot of foreign concepts to pick up pertaining the analysis of language.

Hello! I'm a fresh grad from NYP and would like to apply for a position in the FASS (Maybe a BA in English Language) in the near future, perhaps in year 2012 or 2013?
Just wanna ask if there's any poly grads who were accepted into FASS with a GPA of 3.2ish?

I read through the entire webpage on entry requirements and they actually do take 'O' Level results into consideration- 20% of the total which is good news to me (I got 12points for L1R5 and 9 for R4) but I know that with a GPA of 3.22, getting a place is really almost as impossible as seeing pigs fly. Oh! Does an admission into the Dean's list back when I was in Year 1 give me plus points?

And yes! All you English majors out there, please tell me which page of Romeo and Juliet you're on now
