$10000 for the acca course?! wow! faint![]()
It is about there...Ard $10k for the whole course (including enrolment for revision classes for some critical papers and exam fees, annual membership fees to ICPAS and ACCA). And depends if you need to retake any papers anot..if you didn't make it...
10k, dont think i will be able to pursue.
economy now so bad, 10k is lot of $![]()
Hi sasa sunshine,
As you can op. for part-time i.e. do it at ur own time say - 2 papers per 1/2 yearly, the $10K is spread over say 2.5-3 years depending on the no. of papers taken etc. So the cost is more manageable... Also, you can decide if you're taking revision classes etc etc so the cost are also quite manageable... I've got frens who self studied i.e. bought text. THough she didn't pass some of teh papers at each sitting, she still manage to complete everything in the end as the textbooks are quite comprehensive - at least those during my time are. SOme times the lecturers are really just teaching out of the text which are good - easy to understand with good samples etc.
Go check out the diff. schools - during my time, diff. schools have diff. cost fees - can choose where u want to study for each paper depending on lecturer in charge and fee structure. So go check it out. Take a few paper at same school had special discount also. =)
I heard that we need at least 3yrs accounting wrking experience if wrking in the 4 big firms. And if wrking in those small companies as accountant/assist accountant need at least 5 yrs in order to become CPA singapore??

There are four components to your PER:
* completing three-years' employment in an accounting or finance-related role(s)
* achieving the nine Essentials and any four Options performance objectives to the satisfaction of your workplace mentor
* recording and reporting your PER progress through the trainee development matrix (TDM)
* making a PER return each year.
Your workplace mentor should be a qualified accountant. If they are not an ACCA member, they should be a member of a professional accountancy or audit body recognised by law in the country in which you work.
**so is 3 yrs, and must complete the perf obj.
okie! thankie!
hello all,
i wanna buy a calculator for F6 paper...would be even better if i can continue using the same one throughout the other acca papers. can you guys recommend? does anyone have the approved list of calculators?
TIA! TIA!
Yup..use one scientific calculator that you are used to throughout your ACCA course..Personally I like 'Sharp' and am using EL-546VA. There are also brands like Casio and etc..
