    Hi peeps,

    anyone here took CPA (Chartered Public Accountant) or intends to take CPA?

    hmm for UOL degree , u still have to take some papers with ICPAS first...

    My degree is accredited and I'm graduating next May. Have not thought of getting CPA yet. Wish to work for sometime and see whether this accounting line is suited for me. Heh.

    ya ***.... or maybe acca... also need 3 years working experience right? acca sounds like a killer... my friend only passed the tax module.. she's been taking it since june 2007.

    I was with CPA. Took 1 unit and passed the unit. But switched over to CA as my boss is CA qualified and prefer I do it (since he's paying it). Now doing my fourth unit - audit...super boring... having exam next Tuesday but haven't done much studying

    well i am unsure. I got few exemption for ICPAS. well maybe going for the PE exam (ICPAS) after my degree taking the 5 PE exam. then take some modules on SG tax / master in SG tax.

    but everything unsure...yet...
    clear exam first.

    reason for me to choose ICPAS is my boss don't see the diff between ACCA and ICPAS. Just be a CPA is enough. ACCA is definitely tougher.
