i am currently considering to study either...Communications from UNISIM or Mass comm from APMI or maybe even Mass Comm from RMIT (SIM).
Anybody have any advice? As UNISIM is relatively new..and nobody have graduated from it so I am quite skeptical about it. Plus the course is 3yrs long..so by the time i graduated my hair would have been white and graying..and if its not recognised i would have wasted 3 yrs of my precious time..needless to say..my money as well. So please share your experiences of being a SIM student. The degree will be awarded by SIM itself. HELp HeLP!!! TYI!!! |

It depends UNISIM is a new 4th local university approved by SIngapore government to award its own degree certs. So it is somehow recognised by government body. For the other 2 universities, they are distance learning certs in Singapore and it is welcome in only private sector. Although it is a new university, it will gain recognision and accreditation in the near future. Dun forget SMU was also a new university set up last two years and ppl also worry about its recognision and accreditation but now it is quite successful and received very hot intake.

hi babes&dudes,
any1 going for coming sept 2006 open house unisim? also, any1 taking next intake jan courses? Both allows 40 credits exempted. For me, i thinking of this BSc (Basic) Information and Communications Technology cos it takes 2 years. And, wont be taking BSc (Honours) Information Technology and Business cos it takes 3 years. |
