if any of you know anything or have any suggestions...please kindly help me..i'm lost!!!![]()
Hi, you can try to search through related companies website.. Usually if its a big company, under the career section there is a place for interns to request for internship. Else, just submit ur resume.
IMO. Industrial attachtment is crucial because it is one of the key "differentiating factor" between u and the rest of ur peers when u grad.
Hope that helps!!
i think u can approach the FM companies like UnitedPremas, Knight Frank etc....if u r doing RE, you should know which firms are doing what. just email to ask them ***.
i did mine with unitedpremas and my major is real estate.![]()
hees..thanks alot to rainbowz and elven.. ^^ okies..i'll go email those companies and ask..
anyone else got any other suggestions??feel free to post a reply![]()
hi....does any of you girls know of any company who has intership position for a business management student like me. I don't want to apply throught sch because vacancies are very very limited....and competition is strong.... thanks
geeko, which area are you majoring in? Finance or Marketing? Competition is very strong in Finance, but still you should try to apply a few ya? Mustn't doubt your capabilities
I'm not a first class honour student also, but still manage to get into one of the big 4 for my internship last Dec!
Not all companies based their selection on academic results. If you have good working experience or do well in your interviews, everything will sure work out fine![]()
hi geeko, you can try to write in to the companies. you can get the HR email address from the company webpage and just write in. sometimes, the company do have internship but maybe not many positions, so they did not disclose to the school. i used to do this when i was in tertiary, it works, companies did call me up for interview..Originally Posted by geeko

I'm holding a diploma in IT and i was sent to Government Investment Corp(GIC) during my internship![]()
wow...missygean how did u manage to get the internship with GIC? that must be very hard rite?
I was selected by my course coordinator and went to the interview and i passed. The 3 months of internship wasn't easy as i thought. It was tough from the beginning..i was working hell mad busy with the other IT consultants.Originally Posted by luohuafengyu
overall, the experience was good. And i realised if u get urself into a well established company during internship, its more likely for companies to get back to u if ur looking for perm jobs after graduation.
this summer i want to get work experience - i'm a second year biology student. i don't really mind doing anything for no pay, haha. do you think i could just e-mail relevant companies even though they don't advertise internships/summser jobs? do you just send e-mails indicating your interest at first, or do i attach my grades (which are lousy, but i really really don't mind doing anything) and work experience too?
Geeko, same school!
I also got my internship thru school. I think u should give it a try. I dont have honours but i manage to land a good finance internship with a european bank. It really depends on luck sometimes. For marketing ones, it's actually very easy to get one. there're so many marketing ones around.
