hmm... if you plan to do an MSc (or more) after this degree then a good foundation in theoretical stuff would help in your research/thesis writing. if you intend to work after graduation then getting yourself equipped with practical know-hows would be better. but of course there are no hard and fast rules about this, just do what you like

Hi Anvea_S, so you mean the exam questions were difficult to tackle?
What is the format of the paper like?

Did ur lecturer give your class any homework to practise?
Sorry for asking so many questions..

hiak hiak, apologies to occupy so much of the space.

Maybe its due to the nature of the subject- i never like mathematics, its makes it even more boring. The lecturer will give us some sums to do in class, and never bother us. Homework- nono, he doesnt care. Glad that i have finished the exam, hope i'll pass and dont have to remodule.

hi see some of you doing dip in ba and just finished the first few modules.

I just went for my orientation today and will be starting class on 7 nov.

I was wondering if you all purchased you textbooks and do you think they are worth buying?

Do you all happen to want to sell it second hand since u all already finished you coursE?

I heard the person who spoke today that if we finish dip in BA we can actually move on directly to degree in Business studies. Are the uni's recognised? Just wanting to find out more info =D

yo jocelyn, i usually get my textbooks at cheaper price that are offered by the current students. They usually pin up their offer on the notice boards around. Some are offering photocopied ones at less than $10... keep a lookout on the editions too, difference batches uses different textbooks..

sad, campus is moving somewhere real far..
