"better" is subjective.
SMU provides a school lifestyle that encourages people to talk in class.
NTU accountancy is a 3 years direct hons.
it really depends what you look for in a school. both have heavy workload (in terms of projects), and both school encourage you to take on non-curricular activities, hence increasing your hours in school. (SMU has compulsory CIP if im not wrong, NTU for internship they also look at cca points on top of GPA)
My two-cents is that you should find out about how each school works and see what you prefer, and not just go to the school which you think is "better".. =)
You are given a fixed number of points each semester and you have to bid using those points for the modules want to take. It can be daunting for year ones, but attend the department talks dutifully and it'd be a breeze.
This system is fairer than NTU system, which I heard is fastest-fingers-first. In all universities you have to plan your own timetable. It's not too difficult, don't fret about timetabling when choose schools!
yup it's much better to be able to plan your time table so that u can organise your time n schedules effectively!![]()
