Is SGdress online shopping site reliable? =(

Hi girls,

Finally, I could not resist the temptation, took a risk and ordered three items from SGdress about 10 days (excluding a weekend) ago, but they have not arrived. When I emailed the co. about it a week ago, they replied stating that the items would be arriving soon. When I asked for the reason of the delay, the co. wrote that the items were out-of-stock. Strangely, the items were not reflected to be OOS as such on the website. I am worried that the site is not reliable. I will update you if I receive the clothing. In the meantime, you gals beware of the merchant.

p.s. Has anyone ordered stuff from them before?

I went to order a jacket from SGdress out of temptation a few days back around Mon midnight, promptly made the payment via I-Banking and reply to their website web form and I got no reply whether payment is received or not. I even sms them yesterday to check, and today called them but apparently phone is ringing but no one would attend the call. No emails were received from them even though they claimed they require payment within 48 hours if not order would be cancelled. They're quite irresponsible compared to other blogshops that I purchased from, at least replying within 48 hours. Might afraid SGdress is a scam.

Hi Candy,

I used pay-pal and received an e-invoice from sgdress in my email box almost immediately. I made the payment on 10 Jan and have not received my stuff till today. I have emailed them a couple of times and the replies ranged from,
- "Once the item has been sent you will receive an email by us"
- "Your item will be delay, you should receive your item in this few working days not including weekend and holiday."
- "We will send your item asap, once item is out you will receive an email by SGDRESS support team."

When I found out that SGdress was actually a copycat of Bizmiles, I sensed that something was amiss. So, on Tues, I issued an ultimatum to them and warned that I would report the matter to the police, CASE and even alert the media if I did not receive the items by Thursday (today). At the same time, I also filed a dispute claim with Paypal. On Wed 8am, I received an email from them claiming that the items were just mailed out. AND...today, there were no items in my mailbox...BUT SGdress sent me another email stating that "your items has been mail out today" (bad grammar). Strange isn't it? Then, I realised that it was because Paypal had started the investigation and SGdress was forced to 'do something'.

Apparently, many customers have been conned of their money, as according to the owner of Bizmiles. I am not hopeful about getting my items. I am so vexed!!

Omg =( Looks like chances of getting our items are really slim. I found their advertisement on Facebook initially. Thinking of reporting them. I guess if I don't receive my item within 7-10 working days I will go report to the police and then approach my bank to freeze the transfer.

Any updates from them Rykiel?

i think you should wait for your order this is my second order from them.. first time took about 10 working days that was 1 mth back.. i think should be CNY due to delay item.. anyway shopper know where can i get male wear? i'm looking for my bf..

I've just received an email from Sgdress yesterday that my item has been mailed and would receive it around 1-2 working days. Hopefully so after the long wait

i have just received my CNY order total 12 item 2 OOS maybe i will upload some picture later, i think i sholud change my job, sgdress is hiring now they are offer 1.6k to 1.8k monthly for this position, just try my luck to interview hope that i can join.

Did you purchase through registered mail / normal mail from SGdress? They claimed I should receive 1-2 working days but no avail... ):

By reg mail receive timing 7-10 working days (not include weekend and ph)
but i have order few time no problem for me. they are off till 25th feb.

You're part of sgdress is it keep speaking up for them stil seems to knw them so well when u claim onli order twice frm them. My order more than a mth yet nvr receive! I received email frm them stating posted out I nvr receive aft 3days email to chk they dun bother to reply me til next day file in dispute with paypal then only they respond immediately by sending me same email stating item posted again as if putting up show. I have escalated my case to a claim since 8feb if stil no news soon I am bringing this to CASE & the police. It is not the money issue that is making me furious but I intended the dress for CNY ended up nvr receive. If I have waited on & nvr go shop for clothings I would have ended up with no new clothes for CNY! I won't let the matter rest til I get a rightful answer!

I agreed with you, only Alice seems to side them.

I have the same problem as you... I had placed my order on 26th Jan and till now have not received the order when I last check with them on 13th Feb they said the items already out with Singpost.
When I asked for a tracking number, he is not able to provide me....
Till date, I have tried to call him ample time and sent him numerous sms also no use.
This is the first time for me placing online purchase and turn out the experience to be quite sour.. worst till, I thought since they provided with the company reg no. etc should be quite trustworthy. I have placed $200+ order from them.
Like you said, not the money.. but if I have waited for the clothes and not do any shopping... I would have ended up with no new clothing for CNY. Damn disappointed and angry.

I have already requested for the company's profile via ACRA and intended to sue them.
let me know if you guys interested to bring the case up together.

Wow this is ur 1st time purchasing online & yet u dare to place so much orders? I have been shppg online several times for kids wear nvr encounter such prob b4 & it takes less than 5days to receive if got avail stock dun understand y sgdress needs at least 7-10 working days that long yet nvr receive. If yours is norm postage dun think they will b able to provide any tracking dtls. Did u do a paypal claim? I am thinking of making this matter known to the public by bringing it to SPH. I will join in if u r going to sue them.
