It was an afternoon of hairstyling and eye make-overs! A great big Thank you to Cotters who braved the rainy weather to the Lucidol-L event. We hope that you enjoyed yourself and also picked up a couple of hair & eye make up tips and tricks to get you ready for your special dates and events.

5th Dec 2009 CozyCot held the workshop for the Lucidol-L Hair & Eye Makeup event.

Really learnt alot from tip to toe how to doll ourselves before we set our foot out to our shopping trip or occasion!

Hair Makeup
The makeup artist Gerra helps to explain further and in details how long and short tresses can be groomed using the Panasonic Hair styling tools.
It was very sweet of CozyCot and Mandom Corporation to enclose a special price letter in the goody bag of the hair styling ionic Panasonic tool at 35.00 dollars for the Curling tool.

I love how gentle the curling tool style without damaging our hair shafts.
Friendly organiser of Mandom Corporation and Cozy Cot went round to lend us a hand when we are in dilemma.

Last but not least to mention, Mandom surprised us by offering us to try their products in our goodie bag. Their eyeshadow and the Lucidol-L Hair styling mousse for Silky Long hair and hair spray for Airy Bouncy hold.
The hair styling session was the first part of the seminar and everyone was pampered by Lucidol's Hair product available for styling.

Eye Makeup
The second part of the event was the eyemakeup session for everyone. Everyone transformed themselves by using the eyeshadow palette given by Mandom.Gerra(*the makeup artist) mentioned in great detail the application usage of the applicator from the palette, as well as the colour graduation from the palette for the asian's eye to look gorgeous and bigger.
The gel shadow is reccomended for the brow bone and the area near the tear-duct for that watery-alive Kawaii *cutesy Japanese concept look.Definately i will checked out Watson's for Mandom's other colour range for my friend during this Christmas pressie exchange!
Eyelined makeup
Another star-product introduction was the Gel-Liner in black by Mandom too.The package was really helpful with instruction at the back of package how eyelined eyes presented.Without any hesitation everyone tried their hands out and eyelined their eyes into much doe-looking eye!
Falsie Makeup
Last by not least, Mandom had prepared each of us a set of natural and beautiful falsie to finish our look.The falsie are very natural and the length are from short to gradual length towards the outer corner of the eye shape.
The falsie application demostration was indeed a helpful one too, Gerra emphasis when we spread the glue from the little cute tube(Included in the Mandom falsie set) place the nozzle near the spine of the falsie lash-base for the application. Wait a couple of seconds to wait for the glue to become tacky consistency then place the middle of the falsie to our lash-line (looking into the mirror)and slowly manovre the ends of the falsies to our inner and outer corner of the lash line for the perfect natural look.
Another surprise from Mandom is their eye lash curler by their brand KOJI. We tried it before the falsie is place for that 'lash perm' look.As Gerra mentioned the curler is researched and manufactured by Mandom for that ergonomic for the hands and asian's eye contour shape!
After the tried one of my favourite item is still KOJI eye lash curler from Mandom!

With the above pretty and power tools and products, i believe now our 'used to be humidity excuse' for our groomed look are no longer effective!
Moreover the good news is these products are easily found in Watsons and hypermart *selected *which i believed for our everyday groomed look and for any occasion!

End of the the event it was really convincing every girls had transformed into much Japanese-concept groomed and ready for any date look!

Thanks Mandom and CozyCot, local girls really need much of such workshop of combination of hair and makeup workshop! And Bravo to creative and innovative brands of Lucidol from Mandom too!

Thanks for the event~

The event was really interesting and it was great to meet other cotters. I particularly liked the arrangement of the tables, made it easier for the cotters to interact. Esp. since we could help each other out when we couldn't get the instructions.

The workshop itself was pretty well organised. The makeup artist gave demonstrations of a few basic styles/makeup. I think that she did touch on the main points though. It was also good that the makeup artists walked around and gave personal advice to some of us clueless cotters.

Finally, thank you mandom and panasonic for the generous goody bag. I was shocked at the amt of freebies. Lol, it felt as if we were welcome to bring back everything that was on the tester table. Looks like no one has the excuse to say that they lack the right tools for styling their hair/doing their makeup.

Wow! It looks like you girls had a really good time dolling yourselves up. This event looks like it is really fun and cool. Unfortunately, I was not invited for this event. Would be really happy to go for this if I'm invited. I only managed to attend 2 Cozycot workshop in my 2 years of membership with Cozycot. That's really sad. Hope I have more opportunities to attend Cozycot workshops next time.

I’ve always wanted to get the smoky eye look and bouncy wavy hair. The trainers were friendly and brought their easy-to-digest beauty & hair tips to the workshop. The trainers demonstrated the easy steps to us on a cotter. Alas! We were given time to create the smoky eye and style our hair with the tools provided. This is especially timely this is the time of year when many of us would be out partying.

I believe the kind organizers (Mandom and Panasonic) were in the Christmas spirit – the participants walked away with a delectable smorgasbord of giveaways like hair products, eye shadow palette, falsies, discount voucher. I walked away with so much tips (and goodies) in my bag, literally.

So BIG thanks to the organizers & Cozycot. Can’t wait for a next similar workshop.

First and foremost, thank you CozyCot & Mandom for organizing this workshop!

The workshop was split into 2 parts, namely hair styling and eye makeup. For the hair styling portion, Gerra showed us the various products that can be used to groomed the various types of tresses; long or short, straight or wavy. I liked how we had the opportunities for hands-on using the Panasonic curling irons and straightener and how the makeup artists and CozyCot crew went around helping some of us. As for the eye makeup portion, the main points for smoky eyes effect were covered in adequate too. The Mandom Cleaning Express for point makeup removal was quite effective to use as well.

I was really surprised how at the end of it, the ‘tester’ hairsprays (which were just opened for us to use there) were also given to us. Also, although the crew was already packing up the curling irons and straighteners and had turned off the mains, they were more than willing to allow those of us who wanted to use them to continue using it. The way the tables were arranged was splendid too, as cotters could help each other out. There were a few cons about the workshop such as the lack of mirrors and the lighting but all in all, it was a great workshop!

Have fun trying out the curler and straightener..I always wanted to do smoky eyes which is included in this event and I the effect..
I can make use of the voucher to get the straightener or curler..

The workshop is very interesting and hands-on with 2 makeup artists there to assist us throughout the event.

The goodie bag is very generous too. Would be happy if the cleansing oil is included too.

Oops. Late post!!

I would like to thank Cozycot and Mandom for this event! I learned a lot about the make up and styling and till now, I'm still practicing with the eye shadow and eye liners.

It was very useful that they gave us our own eye shadow pallet, plus gel eye liner, along with tips on how to make full use of the items. It's great! As I was never a person who would apply gel eye liner, it was certainly eye opening experience for me. I picked up a lot of tips on how to apply eye make up from the makeup artist, and it was definitely very useful!!

The hairstyling part of the workshop was great as well, I got to use the hair straightener and curling iron by myself. It was really not easy and takes some time to get used to it. But under the guidance of the crew we learnt how to handle these appliances the correct way so that we won't hurt ourself! Plus there were many lucidol products for us to use as well. I am a great fan of their hair wax, so it was really great that their goodie bag came with 1 tub.

Once again, thank you Cozycot for selecting me for this event, I did not expect because I did not receive any notification till the very last minute! Haha...but I'm so glad that I took the time out to attend this workshop. It was like I expected, very useful and time well spent!!
