i haven't tried the soul soother yet but got hooked on this range only a few months ago. I stumbled upon this when i was on a work assignment in Melbourne and was running out of my normal body wash (which I love love love, but the actual type can't be found here) so I was just looking around for something new to try. The balance one with milk and honey totally reeled me in and when I tried it, was totally taken. Smells great, smooth texture and skin feels great after a nice hot shower with Radox Going on to try the other 2 soon!

After seeing the print ad for Radox Smoothie Body Wash in nearly every magazine I picked up, I caved into temptation and bought one, in the flavour Soul Soother - chamomile, cranberry, blackcurrent and milk. I'm glad to say it did not disappoint at all. The smell of the body wash is absolutely divine; tangy and sweet but not cloyingly so. The smooth, pale pink gel is studded with lots of tiny cranberry seeds - definitely a quality product made from real fruit. Great for a luxurious bath when you want to pamper yourself!

I bought Radox Energise Smoothie Body Wash from Watsons. It comes in a limited edition packaging - a box with a design SO CUTE that I want to keep it!

Upon opening the tube of smoothie, the tangy fragrance hit my nose with a power that wakes up my senses. Cool, I love it immediately! This is what I've been looking for to kickstart my days!

With minerals and natural herbs like ginseng, guarana, lemongrass and mint, the smoothie smells heavenly. Any groggy state of mind can easily be awakened by its zingy fragrance.

Although it is soap free, the smoothie is thick enough to spread all over the body easily. Its texture is a delicious-looking creamy blend filled with bits of herbs, making it a sinful indulgence for the skin. I actually enjoy massaging the smoothie into my skin so that every pore absorbs the goodness within. After the shower, my skin is lovingly softer, smoother, fully moisturized and the fragrance lingers.

Using Radox Energise is a great way to headstart my day and the best way to end it is to use either Radox Soul Soother or Radox Natural Balance or interchangeable between both on every other day!!

I'm SO looking forward to my next shower....hmm...

I decided to try a two weeks challenge of body washes, Brand X on my right arm versus Radox Smoothie Body Wash in Soul Soother on my left arm.

Brand X is a lavender scented body wash that is supposed to melt away stress and promote better sleep at night.

Radox Smoothie Body Wash in Soul Soother has a blend of camomile, cranberry, blackcurrant and milk and is supposed to calm frayed nerves after a stressful day as well as promote sweet dreams.

Applying Brand X Body Wash

The lavender scent from Brand X’s body wash wasn’t really pleasant to the nose as it smelt a bit artificial. Did not feel relaxed and there weren’t any uplifting effects to my mood.

Applying Radox Smoothie Body Wash

Upon opening the cap, the natural sweetness of fruits from Radox’s Soul Soother body wash filled the entire bathroom. I felt instantaneously relaxed, as though I was indulging in some aromatherapy spa session and it certainly lifted my spirits and made me feel good.

Radox’s Soul Soother body wash has tiny cranberry seeds which gently exfoliates the skin.
Brand X’s body wash did not have any exfoliating effects.

Radox’s Soul Soother body wash and Brand X’s body wash are thick and creamy and lathers to a luxurious foam easily.

After rinsing, my left arm which used Radox’s Soul Soother body wash feels clean, and at the same time, soft and smooth. There was no hint of tightness or dryness as though I had applied a thin layer of moisturizer.
My right arm which used Brand X’s body wash feels clean and fairly soft and smooth. However, there was no moisturizing effect.

The sweet fragrance from Radox’s Soul Soother body wash was still on my left arm when I went to bed about 3 hours later.
I could not smell the lavender scent from Brand X’s body wash on my right arm anymore.

As for promoting a good night’s sleep, I think there was no visible difference between the two body washes as I drifted fairly easily to sleep for the entire two weeks.

THE REVEAL

2 weeks after the challenge

Seeing is believing! My left arm which used Radox Smoothie Body Wash is fairer compared to my right arm which used Brand X Body Wash. There is also a slight glow on my left arm.

At the end of the two week challenge, Radox Smoothie Body Wash is obviously the winner as it has the natural goodness of cranberries and blackcurrant. As we all know, fruits are loaded with antioxidants that keeps our skin looking youthful with a nice glow.

Radox Smoothie Body Wash also contains milk which is said to have whitening effects, plus fruit seeds which gently exfoliates the skin. This is good news to all girls as they will always have soft and smooth skin even if they are too lazy to do their weekly exfoliating routine.

As Radox Smoothie Body Wash is a soap free wash, this means that it does not strip the moisture off my skin unlike other washes that claimed to be moisturizing but leaves my skin feeling sticky instead. It definitely leaves me feeling good about myself right till the next morning because of the sweet natural fragrance that lingers on my skin yet it does not overwhelm my senses!

My favourite choice is Soul Soother as it contains Chamomile which helps me relax my body and soul after a long day at work. Not all too figurative though, considering all the good-enough-to-eat ingredients thrown into this bath pleasure. Open the tube and it is instantly apparent that you're in for a treat! I picked Natural Balance - a luxurious blend of yoghurt, honey and almond. The scent of which an immediate throwback to warm summer fields, clean crisp linen of Egyptian Cotton and scones with double cream! And unlike many other yoghurt bath washes, Radox manages to straddle the fine line between luxuriously yummy and cloying sweetness. What you'll end up with is purified, refined and respected skin pampered by the smatterings of almond and the luscious consistency of yoghurt, which melts on like a velvet cloud, leaving a subtle, almost seraphine-like lingering of honey-bound pleasure. A dream really.

I'd toss out my old drugstore bodywash for good.
