Revolutionary Technology
AGE Smart products target the three most crucial biochemical reactions triggered by ultraviolet radiation and food intake. These reactions subsequently result in visible signs of ageing.

1. To combat the formation of ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species, commonly referred to as Free Radicals) caused by attacks from UV radiation, AGE Smart combines antioxidants to scavenge the free radicals which destroy the structural integrity of skin, leading to problems such as lines or slackness. Glucosamine (a form of amino sugar), Lactic Acid, and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (vitamin C) fight hyperpigmentation while Bioflavonoids in White Tea and Licorice to treat broken capillaries.

2. UV radiation triggers in the skin the formation of MMPs (Matrix Metalloproteinases). These are enzymes that break down collagen and elastin to cause our skin to lose strength and tone. At the same time, hyaluronic acid is destroyed, leading to skin dehydration. AGE Smart uses a cocktail of soy, peptides, polyphenols from White Tea and vitamin C to inhibit MMPs and stimulate collagen and Hyaluronic Acid formation.

3. Sugar molecules in our body react with proteins such as collagen to produce AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products). AGEs cause collagen to cross-link, which causes skin proteins to become stiff and less elastic. Because the body has no means of destroying AGEs, this can cause dramatic ageing in the skin. The AGE Smart system employs a unique and specific peptide (LYS/ARG Polypeptide) with Glucosamine and Soy Isoflavonoids to trap excess sugar molecules, preventing formation of AGEs in the skin.

Unique powder melts into a fluid emulsion upon contact with skin to deliver 10% MAP plus 5% other actives (White Tea, Hyaluronic Acid, Glucosamine, Algae Extract, Yeast Extract and Phospholipids) to stimulate collagen, brighten skin tone, smooth texture and lightly exfoliate skin.

Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30
A lightweight day moisturiser that prevents the activation of MMPs and protects against AGEs and free radicals, this contains peptides to stimulate collagen growth for firmer skin while acid-free exfoliants smooth it out. Skin is hydrated and has a restored barrier layer.

I simply love the Dermalogica AGE smart Antioxidant Hydramist! I never thought that a spray on mist after cleansing would make such a wonderful difference to the skin. But with the Dermalogica AGE smart Antioxidant Hydramist, all my doubts about its ability to tone, moisturize and prepare my skin for the rest of the skincare products are gone.

There is a wonderful sensation on the face as it lightly falls onto the cleansed skin, almost like having snowflakes touching your face. I look forward to spraying it on my face early in the morning to get my skin a good wake up call and also at the end of the day when I want to tune in. There is this calming sense about using the Dermalogica AGE smart Antioxidant Hydramist that you have to try it for yourself!

I love how hydrated my skin feels after spraying on the Dermalogica AGE smart Antioxidant Hydramist, it feels so supple and refreshed, like never before! I love the fact that it has hylauronic acid as one of its ingredients, this is important for the continuous hydration of our inner layers of skin cells. Plus, there's vitamins too! Its like a face supplement! An amazing product that I will keep using!

I've used this product for a couple of months, it's better than I'd anticipated. I've been using several products from the AGE smart line, but this cleanser has to top them for offering the most significant effect in a short period of time.

It's a rinse-off exfoliating cream cleanser, using lactic acid to achieve the exfoliating effect. It also contains Vitamin E.

What's good about it? It's a very effective cleanser which includes makeup removal. It smells great (slight rosewood fragrance). Silky texture. Doesn't make my normal / combination skin break out at all. But the best bit is the exfoliating effect. I've tended to stay away from chemical exfoliants, but this cleanser works really well for getting all the flaky bits sloughed off & rinsed away (rather than only getting most of the flaky bits off, or flaking through the day as I find if I use a day cream with an exfoliant) leaving skin clear & smooth right through the day. It's worked wonders on my under-eye and lip areas with the benefit really kicking in after about a week of use. My under-eye area is much smoother than before; it's the only product I've used that has significantly smoothed the slightly bumpy skin (not milia) under my eyes. It's the most effective, tolerably gentle exfoliating cleanser I've used & exfoliating during the cleansing process seems to be the most effective way for me to get day-long clear skin. Its slender pump packaging looks great and makes it easy to use.

What's not so good? The 30-second wait time in the shower. I use it as facial massage time. Also, it stings a bit, particularly when you get it in your eyes, which you do if you use it as I do. The instructions tell you to avoid the eye area, but its effect there has to be one of its best qualities to me. That said, it doesn't leave my eyes red and I don't seem to be developing any eye problems after long-term use. It's also a little pricey at around SGD89.00 for 150ml, which only lasts me around 6 weeks.

Leaves my skin clean, smooth, slightly moisturised and glowing without redness. I do only use it in the morning, using a less active cleanser at night.

Also, Dermalogica doesn't use animal testing.

All up, a great product. Not sure what I'm waiting for before I give something a 5/5....^o^.....
