I like their foundie. It's sweat proof, and has good staying power. The coverage is superb, and can cover my pitted holes. Better than EDM. So far, no allergy and outbreaks. I even slept with the makeup on during short naps. The range of colours are a bit dark. Try their simple radiance range. It's gives a nice glowy look. I am using light2 (full), and French toast. Try testing out the shades.
jywy2000, are the shades under different ranges the same?
Like light #2 and French toast, are they the same shade?
I've given my views on their fdn on the SN thread, so I will not diss them further here. Their blushes actually oxidised in the small plastic bags when I received the samples - got Makayla and Blushing Bride a few months back. They oxidised till about the same colour. So I didn't bother to try.
Mum tried the Simple Radiance foundation (suitable for aging skin) and she seems happy with it but not overly stoked.
Once again, foundation, like spouses, is a very personal thing
I have the following for sale as posted on my sale thread if anyone's keen.
Used 1x - Sample jar Joppa Medium #3 (Full) foundation $2.00
Brand New - Joppa Medium Light #2 (Full) foundation $2.50

lol, Aud. I'm about to order. Now you got me thinking about it again...
Hi vivavoomz,
They are not the same shade. French toast is light golden, while light2 is more peachy. The soft coverage is also a little lighter in shade than the full coverage one. On the whole, the colours are a little darker than EDM. Light 1 and Lightest 1 is too pinkish for us. Lightest 2, light 2 are more towards the peachy tones. Light 2.5 is very yellow, quite dark too. Surprising, the shades, though they look dark, when spritz with water, seem to blend very naturally on my face.
For me, I prefer Joppa over EDM. I like their med-heavy coverage consistency (I ordered the Full Coverage version) and the oil absorbing properties as well.
NC30 using Medium Light #3
me too, i prefer Joppa than EDMit stays longer on me..i love, love their finishing powder too!
it helps to lessen the oilyness on my face..

Their blushes are very pigmented. Just a one or two grains used with the FOB will give you a very natural flush.
Got my Joppa e/s samples today. Shipped out on 15 Oct. Pretty fast.
that's fast! That means i'll be getting mine soon.![]()
2 6-pc sample kits and a couple of eyeshadows.
But a bitcos they are gonna be in baggies. (i hate baggies >.<)
Ur package took only one week? The shipping website said it might take 6 weeks to deliver...
From my previous sample kits (2 - 3 times) and this current purchase, usually 1 wk - 2 wks.
Yup, the e/s is in small baggies but a little goes a long way. I've not finished using my previous samples. But you're right - a hassle. But to use small jars for such small amounts doesn't seem to be worth the effort too.
