After reading this thread, it totally got me so tempted to give this a shot and actually bought it right after testing the consistency of the cream at the store!

The SA recommended me Shade 2 and I am actually in Kate fdn OC-C and Revue BE-C. I thought it was a little dark on my hand but after spreading it out evenly on my hand, it blended in very nicely with my skintone and there wasn't any contrast. Tried using it after my gym workout and I find that it instantly mattifies my face and gives my face a little glow. Not to mention that it does quite a good job in concealing blemishes on my chin and jawline as well. A touch of loose powder and i find that my face looks like I've just applied foundation.

Oil control wise, I find it not too bad especially when I have quite oily skin that shines by mid afternoon. I didn't find the need to blot with powder and I only blot with tissue paper
Overall quite a good buy and it's easily available in Singapore!

stilafaux, which brand did you buy?

tabbie, i don't think it contains mineral oil. U can go back a few pages of this thread where some kind girls provided the ingredient listing of the Missha and Skinfood BB cream. IIRC, the missha one contains mineral oil, the skinfood one does not. Is mineral oil very bad for the skin. I've been seeing a lot of cotters concerned about mineral oil....

It's kind of amazing the way the ginko BB cream kinds of like blends in and matches the skin tone!

It seems that there're many cotters out there interested in BB cream, but hesitate because it's such a new product.

Right now I have on hand Skin Food Ginko BB cream and Do Do Club BB cream, two full tubes and newly bought. Since I am aiming to try out as many different brands as possible, I don't think I would be able to finish using up all of what I have by myself.

I am willing to shell out a portion of my BB creams to anyone who wishes to sample it at a nominal fee. Just drop me a PM.

    goddavarice:

i don't really encounter much wearing off of BB cream so far... but coz i am mostly indoor and stay in aircon... but if it's this grease-proof i believe it should be quite resistent to perspiration as well?

maybe i can find a day to go play sports in it.

Ahh, I got too excited about my rave that I forgot to list the brand! Silly me.
Anyway I got the Skinfood Ginko BB cream I checked out Missha's BB cream as well but I think i prefer the packaging and concept of the Skinfood one .

i had my bb cream on the whole of sunday while i was at west coast park for the national dog walk... perspired quite a bit and still looked relatively good at the end of the day without any touch up. i think it shouldn't be a problem if you gently dap your prespiration instead of wiping too hard?

    Default Updates:

personal before & after pictures as seen in post #141 have been added to the introductory post on page 1 of this thread.

Many cotters out there have tried and liked the effects of BB cream, however not everyone has the same skin type /skin tone or skin problems. I wonder how effective BB cream is towards different skin conditions.

I would like to ask for cotters to generously share their before BB cream and after BB cream pictures.

Believe that it would be easier for everyone to better see the actual results, we are all visual animals ain't we?

so here is the rough format :

    please state your

    -skin type
-skin tone(can state your foundation shade if preferred)
-skin problem (if any) or what you had wished to achieve with BB cream/ foundation
-the BB cream you used & any other product you used alongside with it
-review, what do you like/ dislike about the BB cream you used?

please post your pictures along if possible, i would do a compilation of reviews by different skin types under page 1 if the cotter permits.
