Oooh, sounds great! Which is less oily- Earth's secret potion, Skinfood's lime secret, Benefit's High Beam ?

Benefit's High Beam is enticing as i'm using blusher from Benefit too.

erinn - I personally like Skinfood's lime secret in peach as it's subtle and can double as a makeup base too. Pretty good oil control. If you're using Secret Potion, be careful not to use too much as it's the most shimmery of the 3.

erinn Yes for glowy/dewy look you can go for a liquid highlighter on top of your current bb cream They work just as well that way

I have really sensitive skin (dry/normal).
Very fair- yellow undertone

I tried Secret Potion, bad breakout
Sasa MU Base, rash.

Sigh. Any girls of similiar experience? Any products to share?
Thanks!

For the lime secret base, what is the difference between the shades?

Deliberating between the peach (pink) and green (white) shades.

hi girls,

somehow when i apply makeup, i don't have the glowy look (or maybe just cos i have lousy skin sob) and my makeup doesn't last. halfway into the day, after lunch, my makeup sort of fades and i feel like i want to remove every thing and reapply again! but i'm at work so can't. haha.

does this mean that i should use a primer to hold the makeup? i currently use neutrogena sunblock waterlight lotion before i apply foundation.
i'm thinking of trying the sasa makeup primer but i'm afraid that applying too many layers of things will be bad for my skin!

oreocookie A makeup base is advisable if your makeup is sliding off your face halfway through the day. Just apply a thin layer of base will do and if you are worried about applying too many things, get a sunblock which doubles up as a moisturiser + makeup base too. Im using loreal and it fulfils the criteria perfectly

cmax - it depends on the finish you want. The peach one is great for concealing dark eye circles too and is more natural looking imo. As these are shimmery bases, be careful not to overdo it. The green one is more suited for evening use as it gives a stronger glow.

oreocookie - I prefer the Sasa base as it's got great oil control and pore concealing qualities.

HeatherSung Im using the Loreal Advanced Fluid Protector SPF50. It's actually a sunscreen but doubles up as a moisturiser + makeup base. Really all in one, and its of a stable formulation too so sunblock power is not compromised.

oreocookie Sorry I havent tried the two, but I really like Shu Uemura UV Underbase though
