i like YSL's touche eclat. It really brightens up the area around my eyes but it doesn't cover it completely. i have pretty dark ones as well and i don't think it's ever going to be possible!

Hmm I also need a good concealer!!!!!Still searching for the *perfect* one....

Can give reviews on a few that i like:

-Ettusais eye zone in yellow: Brightens eye area, covers relatively well if your dark circles aint that bad.Good for me on days when i have enough sleep

-KP Stick Concealer: good coverage but abit heavy on me...makes my lines look more obvious than ever, but cant complain much coz it covers ALOT

-KP undertone light up: tried a few times using it. very natural but coverage isnt that good...however it isnt thick thus if u have fine lines, they wouldnt be obvious

    HTH

looks like the recommendation for KP undertone light up seems overwhelming.. does it comes in different tones? btw, how much is that?

hmm.. never tried ettusias ... perhaps i shall go check it out tomorrow.

    undertone light up is standard.

comes in one yellow tube and one orange tube , i've treid the stick one as well but i find this much better in terms of coverage and texture,

it makes my dark circles dissappear!

i've tried Clinique's quick corrector, it looks fresh initially.. but after a certain length of time.. it looks cracky to me.. argh! and make my lines look more obvious .. very dampening

i prefer more liquid base type.. can control coverage and easier to blend. maybe i'll go for the KP undertone light up.

this doesn't seem to work for everyone but i find Becca medium coverage concealor 'magicks' away my dark circles, and the full coverage is great for zits and freckles.

MAC Select Coverup works too, but i need to apply more layers to be effective.

    what does NOT work:
MAC concealor (in pot) - too thick and pasty.
YSL Touche Eclat - great for highlight. not so good for dark circles.

    My vote goes to :-

-KP undertone light up: natural coverage, good for light - medium dark circles

-KP Stick Concealer: heavy coverage, good for under eyes without too much lines, or it will show

    - Cle De Peau Concealer: Good if u have extra $$ to spare. I will say is slightly more natural color tone than KP, but KP works about the same too

I second the KP! It's amazing how something so light (it's liquid and goes on like silk) can cover so well! It covers as well, if not better, than my Becca compact concealer but doesn't look half as cakey. LOVE IT! The two tubes work great together and retail for $42 IIRC -- the pink goes on first to neutralise the dark circles, then the yellow to brighten up the eye area. Just pop by the KP counter and request for one of the MAs to try it on your undereyes!

As for the ettusais eyezone, I used to have it and I didn't like it -- this one will probably work well for lighter skinned girls. I'm MAC NC 30 and this was way too light. It did brighten up my eye area but it was a horrendous white undereye, brown face effect. Worst of all, it wasn't very pigmented so the dark eye circles were peeking out from under the white concealer. :puke:

i cannot use concealer! the texture of most are too cakey & emphasize under-eye lines. another grouse is the white patch u see around the eyes when i take my mu shots! well a lot of people has white rings around their eyes & don't sem to mind it but i hate it. what i do tho is use some stuff with reflecting light properties to attempt to conceal my dark circles. it does not do the job completely but guess it's the best so far! i am on my second wand of the TBS lightening touch, am still my quest for *the* concealer.

I like Lancome Photogenic SPF15 concealor. It's in cream to powder form. Blends like a dream and covers my dark eye ciricles very well! KP undertone is nice too but it's such a hassle to use 2 tubes, esp I am ususally in a rush in the morning.
