Fake Eyelashes

Ok. I trimmed my eyelashes yesterday with the hope that it will grow longer by CNY (my lashes grow quite fast the last time I trimmed). But it was done before I realise that my company's D&D is only TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!! SO STUPID OF ME!!!

I think I may have to resort to the use of fake eyelashes. I tried it last year using Manicure's lashes. The lashes REALLY SUCK!! the Glue STINK!! Even since that horrible incident (I did not manage to put it on eventually), I never tried that again.

Now I am thinking of purchasing good quality fake eyelashes. Which is better? MAC or Shu?? can I ask the SA to put it on for me upon purchase (if I purchase it the day of the D&D - do you think it will last?)? That will save me the trouble of putting it.

this is not MAC or Shu, but the RMK ones are really nice! I like the purple one, it really makes the eyes look very nice and interesting.

I have MAC's false lashes in #3.
The glue I use is shu uemura's eyelash glue.

I have no complains about the falsies. Hope that helps!

btw, if you do get the purple lashes, this is what the Japanese MA used on me at the makeover:

Eyes:
Ingenious eyes 22 light purple, black mascara & the purple lashes

Cheeks:
Ingenious cheeks 10 (a very subtle orange) & 01 (white to highlight)

Lips:
Gloss 18 Sheer Pink

How much is the eyelash glue from Shu umura? Does it stink?

DUO.. where can i find it? they dont seem to have it at watsons. Will SHU or MAC have good ones too?

DUO adhesive can be bought at MAC. I have an extra box for sale. LMK if you want it. {SOLD}

I hear that DUO glue is the best one. Never tried Shu's & I don't really want to use the cheapo ones from Sasa...

Was itching to try falsies and bought cheap ones from watsons just to try out.. they hurt like hell. .(or maybe i'm putting them the wrong way?)





Am i doing it the wrongway? The lashes should be stuck just above the natural lash line?

I've got single eyelids so when i open my eyes the front part kind of goes under..which makes it even more painful

I have a silly question to ask. Do I apply e/s first or fake eyelashes first? I'm afraid the fake eyelashes will not stick to the "powdery" surface of the lids if I have e/s on them?

where can you get FAKE fake eyelashes, like the ones that are like pink feathers or have glitter? i remember my friend in secondary school used pink glitter ones, so they should be available somewhere.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap falsies as well as the adhesive? I know the usual cheap ones come with a tiny tube of eyelash glue, but I saw another girl using a bigger bottle and was wondering where that can be purchased. :D Hopefully not too expensive! Would appreciate it also if anyone could update if the DUO adhesive is still avail at MAC as well as its price. TIA!

Ya, my sis has been using mac adhesive, is good so far. Cant remember the price, think is less than $20.
