i dont know if it's me or what. I bought one pair from basic beauty. It's a jap brand.. think called spring Heart. It's totally horrible!! My falsies came off thrice when i was dancing in MOS. Lucky i was with my SO. The lashes look rather natural on me though. But the glue doesnt work well at all!! Kept coming off. I got so fed up! And the next day, my eyes were really itchy and turning red from all the stupid glue. And yup, i removed em the nite before i went to bed. I wouldnt recommend prolong use for such things. Someone pls tell me how to afix em securely??
could it be the glue that is not so adhesive hence it keeps dropping off??
Are u using the glue that comes with it?
I bought it everywhere I went. MBK, Siam Square and even chatuchak of all places! Anyway, use good glues. I can't be bothered with cheap ones because I can't afford my falsies dropping off halfway dancing or out anywhere I am.![]()
yup, i use the glue tt comes with it. which glue is better???
I bought this type of fake eyelash and i found this type easier to use as compared to those comes in one full length.I use them for spots that i wanted to enhance on more.

i bought 2 sets at Sasa. cheap @$2.40 per pair. they're so soft..
but i dunno how to use!
anyone hv tips? thanks..
Jess i bought those from Sasa but i dont know how to use them!!
And it looks a little unnatural cos the lashes is very long only in the area where i paste them.
Do u mind taking a picture of ur eyes when u put on the lashes?
limme i guess the glue that comes with it is not that good... Alot of them suggest getting the brand DUO from MAC.. I've yet to try that cos i am still satisfied with the glue that i am using which i bought from SaSa.
IMO a good glue will go a long way. It's advisable to invest on a good one.![]()
Lil_piggie,
If it is really too long, try cutting it. But i must admit that the quality is not that great.
Not sure whether mine looks too unnatural or not, but i only use 4 pcs on each eye. I focus from middle to the end of the eyes only, and into those "sparse spots". Not sure whether the pics help, or maybe i am the only one who is too satisfied![]()

Jess, it looks really good!![]()
Now I'm tempted to buy fake lashes for CNY.. The ones you got are from SaSa? I need to go look for them now. We can re-use the lashes right?
But what glue are you using? I have a terrible phobia of mt fake lashes dropping off mid-day if the glue is not strong enough.. When apply false lashes, do you put on eye makeup first? Or just put it on before anything?![]()
lynn, yes i got mine from SaSa Wisma. I use glue from SaSa, but intend to change it to MAC ones. Did not experience it to drop off so far, but this type fake lashes cannot be reuse.![]()
I put on only after my eyeshadow, liner etc. Use a tweezers to put it on, it wld be easier.
Hi gals, hope the append helps in your selection and application of falsh eyelashes.
Selection:
1. Try to go for cross eyelashes if buying a pair.
2. Need not use a pair at one go, instead cut them into exact half for a more natural look. (you wouldn't wanna look like you have a forest on your eyes!)![]()
3. If possible, try to go for those eye lashes that comes in small bunches and use no more than 5 bunches on each eye lid.
Application:
1. Apply eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner (use pencil if possible and try to draw a line thin only) on your eyes.
2. Place the false eye lash (with glue on it already) exactly on top of your lashes and slowly move towards the lash line.
3. Stick the eye lash and move from outer to inner eye lid. It may not sit exactly at the lash line or even straight at all, but don't pull them out again as it will mess your eye makeup.
4. Touch up the lash line with liquid eyeliner after the glue is dry. In the meantime, you can do your blusher and lipstick first.
5. Done!![]()
Hi akaysha,
What do you mean by cross eyelashes?
Cross eyelashes are those eyelashes that criss cross. The other kind would be straight but with different length...
