my favourites after trying ZA, Missha, Face shop, Maybelline, Shisedo, KAte are

- the face shop mascara base
- Missha Square Mascara
- Maybelline sky high curve
- Missha rich volume mascara

not sure about the effects of 3D fasio mascara though i have heard good reviews about them in CC... but i still have an unfinished mascara from fasio. the stock has since discontinued. but i really love the lengthening effect as the fibres stick to the lashes nicely. and though after such a long time of usange, it has not dried up. and i understand that bacteria might be introduced to the opened tube, but i still don find bad points stopping me from finishing the tube...

highly recommended for lashes that need volume and length. loreal double lash extenstion, doesnt clump my lash and make me look more barbie.

mascaras have shelf life of 3 mths after opening.
i am not sure if there are gals who continue to use and keep mascara beyond 3 mths?
i find it wasteful to discard after 3 mths..

I do use my mascara for more than 3 months, until I finish up everything or until it dries up. And I don't have much problem with that so far, and I really don't understand the 3 months policy. Does anyone know what will happen (or is supposed to happen) when we use a tube of mascara for more than 3 months?

My all time fave is Shu Uemura's Length and Waterproof Mascara. My biggest concern is to deal with smudging more than lengthing or volumizing and this mascara is the best I've tried. It still smudges a wee bit under my eyes after a long day, but like I said, it's the best so far. And it does lengthen as promised. I would like to try a mascara that volumizes but I have yet to find one that doesn't smudge on me.

i've heard of this 3 month shelf life before but i still continue using them after 3 months i usually use them til they've become dry. it's rather impossible for me to finish using a mascara within 3 months cos i have quite a few. it'll be such a waste

This is the closest i can find locally which is comparable to my holy grail Dramatical Volume.

cyber colors masacara. waterproof, thickens and lenthens my eyelashes. and easy to remove with as compared to fasio. it's my HG mascara

Yap I agree ... I tried using it for more than 3 mths and apparently it doesn't have a significant impact on my eyes. =P

my fav is maybelline volume express turbo but too bad even the waterproof one smudges on me. tried maybelline XXL over the weekend, didnt smudge as much but i think the effect of volume express alone beats the XXL one...XXL is just soso.

maybelline lash expansion is not bad too..it gives a glossier look to my lashes but volume wise still volume express wins hands down.

You can check it out at www.drugstore.com. They have waterproof and non-waterproof version.
I got the waterproof one and it does not smudge on me. Lashes still curl after working 12 hrs in office.
