gold - you're referring to the new palettes? I'm using their older ones and their eyeshadows are well-pigmented and do not fade much through the day. Great muted colours too that are great for natural/earthy or smoky looks. Very blendable too.

i just started using the Maquillage liquid foundation and love the sponge that comes together. it's extremely silky soft and makes application very easy and smooth. i wanted to buy a spare one so can alternate between washes. But the Shiseido SA told me they dont sell it separately. Anyone knows where i can buy the sponge in same soft quality? The usual liquid foundation sponge i see in sasa and similar shops are not that soft.. pls help!

Hi dear, Shiseido does sell sponges (I am also using maquillage long lasting LF). I believe it's $8.00 for each sponge. I bought mine at NAC if I remembered it correctly. <3

oh! i was told by the NAC SA that they dont sell that particular sponge! Haha. She showed me another, which cost $13, but i feel the quality does not look as fine as the one that comes with the liquid foundation. maybe i try other outlets

I like shiseido eyeshadows, they are satin smooth and glides on well on the eyelids. The compact and loose powder are not bad too. Lipstick and lipgloss are really sweet too, but its not cheap.

i like their eyegel liner! easy to draw and doesn't smudge terribly on my upper eyelids.

They have quite alot of star products, tough to choose though. I bought the eyegel liner too, love it to bits! I like the old range of eyeshadows, but they have discontinued and launched the new ones, so sad as i prefer the old ones as its more shimmery and the colors are lighter shades of pastels.

Such a good question which had me stumped because Shiseido's products are generally quite good across the board though I am more used to their skincare.

Star pdt should be their base makeups I suppose? They are all pretty good in my opinion. Not very fond of their eyeshadows though but I think their Face Creator (blush + contour powder) is also quite well-loved.

I think this year star product is the Transluscent Pressed Powder and the new Shimmering Rouge lipstick collection.
