i have read your review.....hmnn...have u tried the old range of PN eyecream in those pot form? is their finish the same? I cant use the eyecream (turns cream to powder) because the lines on my lids will be very obvious. guess its because of the color, kind of metallic. all the colors in the PN range is not suitable for me. Do u think this range is similar to that? Thanks!
Saw the Maquillage counter at Isetan Scotts today. Very nice e/s palettes. Even the promotion brochures and booklets are very beautifully printed!![]()
Didn't get anything but will admire the booklets instead.. hehehehe![]()
I love the Maquillage booklet too! I hope I'm not the only one who gets excited at the thought of having nice booklets like these to readOriginally Posted by AhCapp
Are the Maquillage diamond tear glosses worth the $$?
nope, u are definately not alone when it comes to makeup booklets. I have files and file of such stuff!
Fleck, Ah Capp, I saw this at Junction 8 today.....and i was happily swatching it with my sister...
This reminds me of PJ's eyegloss too....
Am tempted on the white and green....PJ's green look blue on me....BUT $41 is really on the higher end.
Haru: May i know how much is this product selling in japan?
Er, which product? Diamond Tear Gloss is 2415yen (S$34), Watery Clash Eyes is 2100yen (S$29.50) and the Sparkle Contrast Eyes palettes are 3675yen (S$51).
Postpet2, I think if u want to get the makeup, can considering waiting for Metro 20% off. $41 for an e/s single is pretty expensive. But the advert and everything make it soo nice right?
The price quoted from Iris is very tempting.. heheheeh![]()
Haru, I mean the water clash eyes...the eye gloss that looks like PJ's.
capp: yes, the price is indeed tempting. with metro's 20% off, makes more sense for a product...i'm so stingy these days.
this Mquallage does not turn into cream and non-cakey personally i brought the white pcs to use as a base for my eye makeup.great and cooling feeling.the only problem is they don't spread evenly as it's quite watery.i found that PN is easier to apply and it also make the eyes looks bigger too.Originally Posted by VinLongo
Hehe AhCapp it's not only makeup booklets. I love other types of catalogues too! Like Massimo Dutti, FireMountainGems, L'Occitane... But I'm too lazy to file/organise them, just dump them all over the placeOriginally Posted by AhCapp

I used to dump them all around. But I am getting files to file them up. My theory is it's impossible to buy every single makeup item, so the next best thing is to admire the makeup booklets/ flyers.Originally Posted by affdee
Oh, I didn't know Massimo Dutii has such booklets too. Will take a look when I drop by next time.. heheheheh![]()
AhCapp does Maquillage still have the instruction booklets? I only have a product pamphlet. I'm not sure if Massimo still has the booklets, but they're black and come in plain black 'envelope' (it's the box-y kind), and should be placed at the counters. I didn't know those were catalogues until I was queueing to pay and there was a Caucasian lady in front of me who apparently bought lots of stuff. The cashier enthusiastically handed her a catalogue. She didn't offer me one but I just decided to be thick-skinned and ask if the catalogue is free or comes with purchase, hehe. (It's free, by the way.)
Lemming for the Maquillage lip essence, diamond tear glosses, and single e/s! Hehe. I read on the previous pages that a Taiwan makeup artist used the black and white e/s to create some effect? What effect is it and how to achieve?
Thanks ladies!Originally Posted by nutty
Yes, I got 2 different kind of booklets from Maquillage yesterday. 1 is the instruction booklet (Which teach u how to apply the e/s palette etc). The other is like a postcard holder with 4 different "postcards" in it. It's very nice.
I am lemming for their new lipsticks.. so nice.. but without Metro 20% sale, the next best thing is either to get Iris to help me get or to just admire the booklet. hahahaah![]()
I had also got the booklets from a counter when i purchase my lipstick.
I also love to file these booklets in a file. I have a clear holder file for these, I would cut pages from magazines which I like into it for reference
Of course its hard to buy all the colors, but it would easy reference for you to use similar color though not 100% same to create the same effect
Review of lipstick: Really very moisturizingLike lip gloss effect but price is so costly, SGD48
