Iris, just read your posts about the new Maquillage, how to pronounce that (Ma-key-large??). I bought Betiki and this new range caught my eye immediately And not forgetting the new Jil Stuart too. But SGD70 for the blusher is so expensive, yet the bottle is soooooooooooo stunning

Oh yes, need your help with this new dazzlight powder by Anuenue, is this to cover pores or something like that? TIA

It is a shimmery face powder that can also help to cover pores. I think they can be used like bronzers. Anuenue's look is that of a suntanned Hawaiian theme. #721 is Shiny Ochre, #722 is Lucent Pearl, #723 is Bronze Gold and #724 is Bronze Pearl.

As for pronounciation of Maquilliage, i think it is how you guessed it cos the phonetic Japanese that it is written in sounds like ma-key-arge.

I'm soo lemming the Maquillage (sp?) blushers!! They look sooo hot! Reminds me of the YSL Bayadere bronzer

Iris, have you played around with the Maquillage's eyeshadow palettes? How pigmented are they? I'm asking this as I was interested in the Kanebo Testimo eyeshadow palettes but according to the reviews in MUA.com they're quite sheer and it put me off them as I'll ****** have a hard time in making them show up on my GGG skintone...

Just tried the Maquillage e/s palettes in the store today and they are very smooth and pigmented. Reminds me of the Inoui ID matte/semi-matte texture. Feels more finely milled than Testimo. The cream liner in the Maquillage palettes feels the same as that in the Testimo palettes though. I think the Maquillage palettes are a good buy but only if you like the colour combinations. I don't really like the shape of the compact though. Looks a bit awkward. On the Testimo quads, I actually find them very pigmented. I'm referring to the Fresh Clear Eyes palettes, not the earlier ones.) For you, I'm sure the blue, purple or green palettes should show up. The 3rd shade in 07 actually looks like Shu ME 945, if you like the latter.

By the way, the SA told me that with the introduction of Maquillage, Proudia and PN will not be discontinued for another two years. At least that is the current plan.

Thanks Iris Just one more question though, when you said the Fresh Clear Eye palettes do you mean these?

    http://www.kanebo-cosmetics.co.jp/te...ow/eye1_8.html

Also Jill Stuart's website doesn't show the shades of the makeup does it? Thanks

The Jill Stuart website will be "fully opened" on 22 Aug, so you can check back then to see if they expanded the site to include shades. And yes, by FCE, I meant the palettes in your link.

    Thanks again Iris

However I think I'll just save my £££ for Inoui ID just as you've suggested!

Just saw the Maquillage range in Sept's ef mag. Really them. I like the makeover part where ladies are being made up to look exactly the same as the models in the MU posters. Will post them up if I have the time

Iris, is this range being sold in drugstores or only at the counters? Any idea if there's any discounts for it (I doubt so as its a new line, am I right?)?

Maquillage will be in both drugstores and dept store counters, just like PN/Proudia is. The difference is that the major drugstores offer discounts but the dept stores do not. Maquillage will be discounted by the same amount that PN/Proudia is, which is 20-30% depending on the store. Both the drugstores and dept stores already have testers and pamphlets displayed.

Its amazing how they can transform ordinary looking gals into model-like gals :wow: I need such MUArtists!!!

ETA: I've made the scans big enough to view the colors. Best to save to PC and then open it so it can be viewed 100%

wow i wonder how do they ever coat the bottom lashes with mascara until it fans out so nicely and long. i would get panda eyes trying to do that and then spend another 15 mins wiping away under the lashes and the mascara gets wiped off as well.

kestrel: Maybe you can place a piece of tissue below your eye and then coat the lashes with mascara so that the mascara does not have contact with your skin when you are applying
