Hi gink,
The first pic that you posted shows the 50g loose powder set. The big container in the background contains the smaller tub and the compact. The smaller tub contains the 50g loose powder and the compact is for you to fill it up with the loose powder to carry it around with you. Both the compact and the tub come with puffs. The compact also has a mirror.
The 2nd pic also shows the loose powder but not sure what size this is.
The 3rd pic is their Pact foundation but in a mini size, contains SPF 19 and is 4.2g for 1260 yen. See here for shades. http://www.cosmeshop.com/shop/palgantong/212/912.html
The 4th pic is the full size Pact foundation which is 12g for 2940 yen.
It only comes in one color, is it translucent when applied? As the colour looks rather peachy to me.
I think its great they include a compact to fill the loose powder for easy carry around.
Iris, you just fed a huge huge lemming to me!
Btw, do you have the ingredient list for the powder? Sorry, I cant read Jap.
Hey Gink,
I haven't tried the powder myself so I can't say.The ingredient list is all in Japanese and I can only make out that the first ingredient is talc. Also contains fragrance as the last ingredient on the list. Also has methicone (?), buthylparaben (?), allantoine (?), propylparaben(?) and methylparaben (?). The last five are written in phonetic Japanese and i'm not sure of the English equivalent. But that would be my guess.

Wow, is the palgantong powder that good? I see it quite often in the Japanese magazines, but somehow it didn't quite appeal to me when I saw it in real life in Japan. Looked quite chalky in texture. But the Palgantong Fania compact cases look quite nice!
Anyway its made by Dodo, a korean company, so wonder if its much cheaper buying this in Korea?
Thanks very much Iris! Is this the Fania compact case?

Have you seen the advert by Korean Ha Ri Su in Japan? She is dubbed in Korea "a woman more beautiful than a woman." :wow: I do find her pretty despite being a transgender.
hey Gink, yup, that's the Fania compact case. I haven't seen the Korean ad you mentioned.
Believe it not, I have an male ex-colleague who's mad about Ha Ri Su! :eh:
Bee, you shall be the first to tell us if the Palgantong's really as good as hypedI gravitate towards the Fania instead. The 'theatrical' bit really scares me (read 'wayang' = drama)!
Anways, I hope the MM Powder Fantasia turns out as good as hyped as well
Hey Glossie, you have the MM Powder Fantasia ?
I think the Fania powder has more moisturising factor than Palgantong?
Yeah Bee, we are patiently waiting for your reviews!

You could buy that in korea as well, much cheaper than in Japan. Hths![]()
okie, i shall be the first reviewer of this powder then. Once my wallet recovered from the shock of M)phosis sale, I will ask haru to do the CP for me![]()
Haru, you got us all lemming for CPs from Japan![]()
I cant decide between visee, inoui and MM e/s, which is better?
And, is Benefit expensiver in Japan?
Lastly, how do we pay you for the CP?

Hey Topaz,
Of the 3 brands, I think Inoui ID has the best e/s but it costs 3150yen for a palette of 4 e/s whereas Majolica costs only 525 yen for a single and Visee is 551yen after discount. So Majolica and Visee are more affordable but Inoui has a nicer and wider selection of colours. Actually I like T'estimo e/s more than Visee or Majolica as T'estimo has gorgeous shimmery colours and more intense pigment than Visee.
I haven't seen Benefit in Japan yet..doubt if it's available here. if i see it, will let you know. But even if it's avail here, u'r probably much better off getting a CP from the US as American brands are always about 50% more expensive in Japan than they are in the US, with the exception of Giorgio Armani (but that isn't really American).
For payment of CPs, I've been using Paypal. HTH!
i realised the Testimo Fresh Clear Eyes 4 e/s palette that haru was raving on, and the PN graduation eye palette are selling at the same price.
Testimo
PN
Dilemma: if it was you, which will u get?![]()
I prefer the T'estimo as the two darker shades are creamy, not powdery like the two lighter shades. They stay on very well without creasing on me for several hours. The lasting power seems to be better than powder e/s. Also, the pigment is more intense.
I do love the two creamy T'estimo shades. So it is that the upper ones ARE powdery! I really dislike it!
