Hey babes, i am feeling abit demoralized i was initially offered a contract job for 8 months with an insurance company, signed the letter of contract and supposedly i should start work this week but due to some unforeseen circumstances, my start date was changed to next week and the duration was shorten from 8 to 6 months. Any cotters experience similar situations when seeking employment?

Usually the turnaround time will depend on the urgency of hiring. You can always call the HR 3-5 days after the interview to inquire.
