SQ has surplus cabin crew now and EK is not holding any recruitment open days worldwide.

My friend working in DUbai told me that business is really bad at the moment there.

Ek's recruitment has been put on hold. It'll be quite a while before they start recruitment.

Airline industry has been really hit bad by this.

As for your scar on your chest, as long as can be covered by kebaya, should be okay.

they dont check the chest unless it's above the neckline so it does not matter

market is very bad, few of my pilot friends are retrenched already, but not from SQ. best is to find other jobs first

huh!! mine is cos of a heart op when i was young. i dunno if the kebaya can cover or not. never wear before! haha!

the kebaya is not as low as it used to be coz apparently passengers wrote in last time to complain they can see cleavage when the girls bend down to slot in the trays hahaha

SQ did a recruitment exercise in Nov last year, thus chances of them having another round this year is unlikely, given the economic situation now.

it is approx. 2cm below the curve of the collarbone. If the scar is only slightly visible, chances are, the kebaya top should conceal it. Whatever it is, should an exercise come along, go for it. Let your personality shine through the interview, nothing else.
