How much do you wish you could earn a month when you hit 35?

6 to 8k is consider quite alot. If i do earn that much i will be so happy by then. That will be more than enough for me to splurge on my favourite stuff. But of course the more you earn, the more you tend to spend.

Of course one have to learn how to save on it... If not, even given 50k per month, can easily spent it anyhow...

I realised ppl here do really earn lots of money ! If i were to say out my pay you ppl will sure get a shock ><
So I'll just hope for $4-6k . I'm 19 now so 16 more years to 35 :D

4k will be enough for me to spend. I'm trying to learn to be contented with what i have. I do have friends who earn 10 over thousands a month, yet they will wish for more, as they find that its not enough for them to spend on luxury goods and nice car, good food, great holidays...

how do you get 4.8K at age 25, assuming you grad at age21, 4 years exp and you getting 4.8k/mth!!

What industry? banking/finance?, engineering, oil/gas??

i got a colleague who work for 10years in my current company getting only about 4.1K, his starting was 2.7k, he also degree!!

The older I get, the more I think, I don't need to earn so much money at age 35. My salary is good but the stress levels keep increasing. My health is affected, along with any form of personal life. I sleep the whole weekend off sometimes because I am so tired, not just physically but also emotionally because of difficult bosses, colleagues, workplace politics etc. If I have a kid, I won't have time or even the patience for him/her. Sometimes, I don't know if this is the kind of life I want. It's OK if I earn a moderate salary and have more time for myself and my family/friends when I'm 35.

Somehow I think 4-6k is not enough...

Maybe because I'm still young, so I'm ambitious and got a rose tinted view of the world. I hope reality don't strike me like lightning one day and I wake up at 35 years old earning 1k a month. Haha
