I get caned today for getting poor results =(

i dont know where i can vent my frustration on, so decided to talk abt it in this forum, at least this is women forum

i am already 16 years old but my mum still canes me because i get poor results.. i am aching now..

i know she meant well but i am already 16 i dont understand why she still use the cane on me.. her expectations are so high.. for each subject i fail i have to endure 3 strokes of the cane.. nothing i can do.. hopefully i pass all subjects next time =(

well my peers dont get beaten up at age 16 but i still do. i think yr mum caning shldnt be that bad, just to remind u to do well for yr O or N level.

i was caned because i went to take a nap without taking a shower. so the reason,..... which one is worse? hehhee

Actually, if you're going to take O level's this year, I can understand why your mom is very very concerned/worried.
If you're still failing for your Mid-year exams, you'll need to work very very hard to do better for the O levels.

Your mom definitely wants you to do well. Maybe she was hoping you'd pass everything and not have to get caned. She was hoping to spur you on.

oh missed something. u failed 3 subjects. So well, if she has said before that abt the caning, u have to face it.

i think there isnt much subjects to take anymore and failing 3 sounds a lot! and 3 strokes of cane is nothing. pls just buck up and study than to surf net or do other things. u need to catch up on yr studies.

why dont u tell yr mum to stop giving u caning and instead, barred u from www and watching tv shows, going out with yr friends etc. i think that will be better for u to put yr priorities right. and yr mum isnt strict at all. its just 3 canes!!!! total only 9!!!!

i didnt endure 3, i endured 12 strokes in total because i failed 4 subjects =( failed amaths,geography,combined humans and english... some of them are really very difficult

yes my mom set the rule of 3strokes/subject failed.. i told her to stop caning me but she say cannot=( my bottom is sore and covered with cane lines.. ****...

Apply some aloe vera gel on the part where she canned you okie? I guess because you failed and she wants you to do well. If you're taking O or N this yr this Speaks why she's so worried for you and canned you...

i dont have that at home=( she applied all 12strokes onto my buttocks, if i apply "zambuk" can or not? =/

she is very kind to cane yr buttock. at least no one can see them

i will suggest u to use those medical ointment if u are not allergy to them. just rub onto yr wound. zam buk i dont know i seem to use that too last time. but mine was blue green red purple kind. can see blood inside skin or sometimes outside

aloe vera not everyone is suitable. some can be allergy to aloe vera although its said to be a very good healing plant

u really need to buck up. u failed 4 subjects. yr mother cane u because she is so worried abt yr future!!! unless yr school set the paper higher than O level standard, otherwise its really a concern. u can only have a limited selection of courses to study after yr O level result.

oh dear .. you failed 4 subjects?? Have you thought about your future? As a mother myself, I can understand where your mum is coming from .. failing 4 subjects is very very worrying .. dear, you seriously need to concentrate on your studies. Perhaps you could consider asking your mum to engage you a tutor? I find group studies useful.

okay.. i have applied zambuk on the cane marks already.. yeah luckily i get caned on bottom so that nobody can see the lines when i go school..the cane marks are very very red now.. =(

my mom is required to go school to meet the HOD.. she threatened me that if i dont buckup she will ask the school DM to cane me

Hope you're feeling better now. At least your mom told you beforehand and did not just cane when she saw the results.
She's definitely very worried to suggest getting DM but don't worry. Schools cannot cane girls

maths & eng is especially impt. so are the other subjects
practice more. ask yr friends or teachers if u need help. try group tution.. fun to have friends tutoring together.

think to yrself if u want to be retain when all your friends head to poly or jc?
i'm sure if given a choice, she wouldnt want to cane you. and i dont think the expectation of just having to pass the subject is high. its not like u score more than 90 n she still cane u coz she expects 95 & above

Honestly, 12 strokes is not a lot, my mother used to cane us at least 5 times more than that! I used to hate her for all that caning, but really I truly believe in spare the rod and spoil the child.

You still have time to catch up. I used to get F9 for amaths and managed to get an A1 in O levels, with the help of a tutor, of course. Practice makes perfect, work harder for the next few months and you can enjoy the holidays without worrying about results! All the best.
