just wanna get the procedure right in asking Guan Yin for the lot :

1. intro myself, ask the question, throw the cresent.
2. if cresent is not in opposite directions, re-throw again
3. after 3x if still not in opposite directions, refrain from proceeding to get a lot.
4. if the 3rd time is favourable, proceed with the lot.
5. after lot drops out from the container, throw the cresent again - just once or max 3x?
6. if still not favourable, put in the lot to the rest & shake the container for another lot.
7. repeat 5

i dont read chinese so how do i know who to turn to, to interprete the lot since the English version is not accurate? someone mentioned the fortune teller but i dont quite trust them. so how?

I was told Guan Yin's last birthday for this year falls on 26/10 & I was thinking of going to say thanks for helping with my healing. As i'm still limping, it may not be practical to go when the temple is so crowded.

is it the same if i go to a nearby temple with Guan Yin to offer prayers?

Xan228, that's what i usually do when i go to the Kuan Yin Temple in Bugis. After goddess has approved everything, i will take the lot and read the book so as to understand what my lot is trying to tell me. After that i was told that you have to burn away the paper on the spot, don't keep it.

And because of some incident, we short of didn't talk to each other for about 3 weeks till now. I qiu qian for a few times asking if he and I were meant to be. And I got like 3 good ones. But so far, that person is not initiating any contact with me at all. Should I forget him? or initiate contact? or wait?

Whenever i feel down or something, i will go pray at the temple.

I will tell guanyin niang niang about my problem, how i feel etc. Then i will pray that she will help me.

I dont know why. But after praying, i feel better. Even when the temple is very crowded, i feel kind of peaceful after praying.

If not ling, then why so many people go ? So must be ling ****.

They say, if you pray sincerely, gods will help you.

The feeling is amazing, i feel so peaceful after praying too. This kind of feeling is strange, but i feel really good after praying to goddess.
