I have passed the fever.... When i first get to know of online shopping... My bank account is dropping and dropping.... lol...
but when you girls shop online, you have to give your bank account details and personal info like that right? don't you girls worry about those fly-by-night websites that just make use of your personal info and cheat you? i'm very tempted to shop online (not now though cos i dont have my own credit card yet but perhaps in future), but i'm really afraid these incidents might happen to me, esp the bank account one.
usually we are just required to give them out account numbers incase of refunds. i don't think they can cheat us based on the account numbers, they can't even withdraw our money.
what i'm more worried is if the online sellers will send out the items after we transfer them the money. that's why i only buy from blogshops after some research on their feedback. and usually i try to stick to as few blogshops as possible. too many blogshops will end up spamming from unknown in my mailbox.
hey guys ! what happened to yahoo auctions singapore?
heard they closing it down or something.
ya, i also heard they are closing down. i find it rather useful actually. dad had actually bought some hardware from the yahoo auctions and so fat the sellers he met were nice and honest!
lol. sometimes auction sites wont last long..
btw, I dont really know how to do bank transfer. cn anyone teach me, this noob?![]()
kokojun: i think you may have to apply from bank or via atm.
For online purchase, so long as the seller accept paypal as one of the payment methods, then it should be pretty safe but then again, I did read from tpf some stuff that paypal doesn't do refund or refund the amount fully due to high amount purchase.
online shopping have pros and cons. I just receive a hoodie from taiwan spree which i waited for 3months. Sigh.
yes i've been shopping online and when the bill comes i nearly dropped dead!
i agree with some of what the other cotters mentioned in the earlier posts, i love seeing parcels arrive and ripping the envelopes to find my purchase in there!
and also, stuff from overseas are more unique .. harder to clash into someone owning the same thing as you here![]()
Yes I do because I cannot get those stuff in Malaysia. Besides, it is more convenient to search for what I need through the internet than do a scavenger hunt in my city. It is a very efficient way of shopping. All the skincare and cosmetic products that I am using right now (except Kiehl's Calendula toner) are bought through the internet.
I don't shop for clothes, shoes and bags online though.
I always do transfer via POSB/DBS ATM or i banking...
transfering via ATM:
insert ur card & key in ur pin..
den go select other services...
go next until u find the 'funds transfer'...
click on it and den choose the options as prompt..
(as in transfer from which account/transfer to which account)
(choose 'transfer to other account' when prompt')
den key in the account no. you want to transfer ur money to..
Hopefully the above helps..:-) anymore prob drop me a PM ba..
