Default Inconsiderate acts that annoy you

This is what i experience often...

    1) while queueing up to pay at the cashier, the person behind stood very close to you and sometimes the stuffs they are holding touches your back or trolley hit your backside Explode Smiley
Cant they just leave some space???

    2) When you are about to exit the lift, the person just enter without waiting for you to come out & end up you have to give way to them and walk out... Explode Smiley

Anyone have similar or other encounter?

yes yes yes! why are there so many annoying people around!? similar incidents as yours. and a lot more!

some , they fight hard to overtake you in a crowded passageway, then after I am overtaken, they just walk super slow in front of you. If I am with a friend, I will say something bad about those people, but making sure they heard that. if I am alone, i will just 'tsk tsk' them. Blah Smiley

Those inconsiderate people are thick skinned one, even though they heard your remark, they will act like they didnt hear you... Maybe they are "Kiasu", that's why they like to overtake others. LOL Smiley

Im in china now, and I'm experiecncing the acts (and more) Snowbell53 mentioned EVERYDAY!

Like whenever I queue up to wait for taxis or such, those mainland chinese people will stand sooo close behind me, like leave 1 inch away from my back. I can hear and smell their breath (terrible if they have bad breath). If I try to move forward, they move forward also. As if the taxis will come faster if they get closer to the front.

    Irritating!

Qwen: I agree! I hate going to China, these people are very irritating.

And I hate people who are suckers for discounts. I used to temp as an SA at a highend hair accessories shop in town, and those China women always like to ask for discounts. I don't know why, until I went to China and I realized prices can be haggled no matter where you are.

Not to mention some husbands who come in with their wives, I've had men asking me to quote them our "best price".

What do you take us for? A gold shop? Explode Smiley

Had also met some demanding wives, whose husbands were so sweet they bought accessories for them as a surprise. These wives didn't like the designs and came back for exchange. I remember one husband looking so embarrassed when his wife chided him in front of us, saying things like, "I dont like this kind, next time dont know what I like, please dont buy!"

I mean, duh, I know your husband listens to you, but have you ever spared a thought for his feelings?

I think the worst i ever seem is these "taitai" from that C place... the place was having sales for clothings and they simply grab and throw back whatever they don't want or snatch whatever is in your hand & can said OH you haven't pay what -_-" and you didn't said you want it. The faces of the sale person there was really Explode Smiley And their voice were really LOUD.... i really wondered if i am in a wet market? SO was so turn off and pull me out of the shop.

Another kind is those using HP. They simply think they are using normal phone where they got to talk so loud? Everyone can hear their conversation.

I'm regularly annoyed by meanderthals in supermarkets. I go there after work, try to get the stuff I need as quickly as possible, but they barricade the isles with their carts, stand around and talk, forget to weigh their stuff and remember only when they are at the cashier...

I have similar pet peeves. I don't like people who stand too close to me when queuing up too. I remember when I was queuing up for immigration checks at the Tokyo Narita Airport. The two girls behind me stood so close to me that one of them knocked their head against mine when I stopped abruptly. Stars Smiley

People who blast their music on the bus or mrt. There's such a thing as earphones, dummy.

People who put their belongings on the seat next to them when it's the only seat available.

QWen I totally agree! And all the queue cutting everywhere - for taxis, toilets, payment... And the worse thing is that the only way to survive is to join them - be as loud, as bold, as thick-skinned as well.

And yes, definitely those who blast their music on public transport. Just last week I was on the bus with an auntie who had hokkien tunes blaring out from her handphone!

There are many on my list! To list a few I can think of now:

    - People who squeeze onto the MRT train even when its very full
    - People who do not queue
    - Rude loud mouths
    - People with BO

HAhahhaa.. yes, I agree too, the only way to survive is to join them. If not, they will totally take advantage of you. Gosh, I hope I don't turn into one of them eventually.

So now, whenever someone cuts the queue, I will shout very loudly at them, and making eye contact with the other queue-ers hoping to get some support.

prettyeagle: Yeah, I realized that prices can be haggled no matter where you are! They way the Chinese do business is soo different and I'm still trying to adapt. hahaa..

Omg... I will be irritated as well... Sometime if they really push their limit, I will turn around and say "Excuse me, can you stand back a bit???" Twisted Evil Smiley

Happen to me not just at the cashier queue, basically whenever there is a queue, people tends to stand so close... experience at Spore and Msia custom, movie box office, etc. I will tends to turn around and give them a stern stare.

Those who blast their music is inconsiderate and show off, not everyone likes or wants to hear the music.

As if their belongings pay for the fare as well... LOL Smiley
