QWen I totally agree! And all the queue cutting everywhere - for taxis, toilets, payment... And the worse thing is that the only way to survive is to join them - be as loud, as bold, as thick-skinned as well.

And yes, definitely those who blast their music on public transport. Just last week I was on the bus with an auntie who had hokkien tunes blaring out from her handphone!

Wow, the auntie so "in", never thought they will use their HP to hear music in bus...

So now, whenever someone cuts the queue, I will shout very loudly at them, and making eye contact with the other queue-ers hoping to get some support.

Yes, for those who cut queue i will shout very loudly at them as well... But sometimes, those elderly act blur and just cut the queue and i just let them be.. But IF it is teenager, adult, i definitely wont let them do that, sometimes if they really make me feel pain in the neck, i will say rudely " Are you blind?? Cant you see where is the queue?" There is still one type of people who exist! They will ignore you and continue to cut queue...

in the crowded mrts, some people can be so inconsiderate to stand in such a way that their whole body is against/at the poles. hello..i need to grap onto something for support!

or those teenagers who switches on their music l-o-u-d. hello, not everyone enjoys the same genre of music as yours. there is such an invention such as earphones.

this particular incident.... my family and i were waiting for taxis at the taxi stand. there was this indian couple behind us. our taxi came and unfortunately, he does not wish to take us to our destination cos it was out of the way for him. so natural instinct, go to the next cab.
guess what? the indian couple stopped us and chided us, by saying it's THEIR taxi.
and i'm like "we came first in line. if you can see, the taxi in front of us did not want to take us. so the next cab is ours"
and the indian couple shook their heads and mumbled some words and was complaining to the family behind them.

i especially hate those who wouldn't give up their seat for someone who needs it more.

Yes I remember when I was in china, life is hellish. Every little thing that seems so easy in SG is super hard in china eg waiting for cabs, shopping. I cant imagine there are people as thick-skinned as them!

Does these counts:

- neighbours never bother to cover up the BIG burning tin after they burn the incense paper. Im okie if the smell isnt too strong, but she always left it uncovered and the whole corridor smells of smoke and the grey smoke clouds flood in my living room all the time! Now thats SMELL and VISION involved! It irritates the throat and made breathing so much harder. She dont seem to get it that its irritating and inconsiderate. My mum had already told her and her husband and even help to cover the tin. But i dont think its my mum's job to do it. They should be old enough to know that. and i felt they have no common sense and super inconsiderate - they are just besides my unit. Imagine that.

- the same neighbour. Never fails to slam the living room's door and gate for more than 5 times in a day. I dont know whats wrong with her. She seems like a looney and if my house were to have a toodle or kids, they sure gonna get shocks everyday.

- The neighbour above my unit always loves to hammer or stamp on their floor in the middle of the night. It's so annoying. How are we gonna sleep?!

- The neighbour on the right side. Her children's relative can say these to my mum "Aiya, shes old people already, help her l.ah. When you next time old already, you will surely need help one day." How my mum suppose to help when all the old lady wants was to talk to her children, see her children, seeking attention for her children and wants them for help? If the children finds her troublesome, wouldnt my mum felt worst to attend to all her needs and wants everyday and cope with all the craps/and whatever stuffs that she accused my mum?! If only theres someone who experience this themselves, they will then know how sickening, irritating and selfish they are.

- the old gangster who stood outside my neighbour's unit and smoke. I dont know what brand he is using, but the smell is extremely strong and filled my whole house. Stinks!!!! And he is a hongkee who speaks cantonese. No offence to that, but he speaks damn loud and full of vulgarities! I wonder where is his brain.

Overall, i have a very weird and inconsiderate neighbours

my top annoyance has to be all the acts on the mrt, and on the roads..
1) hate people who plonk their body on the pole and even sandwich the pole between their bum crack.. I can be quite mean though, I'd just go head on and grab the pole where their back is.
2) hate people who aren't considerate enough to give up their seats for old folks. Either i'll give up mine even though it's further, or i'll "chope" the next available seat and beckon the elderly person to come over.
3) hate people who stood within the yellow lines and rush to get in before you could get out. Oh, and for this, i'll raise my voice and ask the person to give way.

And on the roads, TOP annoyance BIG TIME..
1) motorcyclists who drive on the white road markings. Since when did road markings became motorcycle driving path?!?! It's darn dangerous man, especially when they appear on blind spots, and it became difficult to change lanes... argh. Hate this alot! And in fact, almost alllll motorcylists are doing this now.

I HATE people who seat in a crowded foodcourt or hawker even when they had finished their food, desserts and beverage. They will just sit there talk and talk and talk as if they are in a cafe even if there are people waiting for their table. Very inconsiderate and selfish!

actually burning incense shouldnt cover the container. It will be more smoky. So she isnt wrong to leave it open. Maybe when the smoke is getting lesser, she should close it with cover slightly

for me, i witness young adults, some shld be so called 'professional' with high education (at least a diploma from their clothings) rushing INTO the mrt cabin before those inside come out.. whats wrong with them?

couples hugging n holding on escalator and dont know how to move. When they 'move', they just 'seperate themselves one to the left, another to the right' and Expect you to walk BETWEEN them.

and the dangerous stunts of drivers.......... BEAT RED LIGHT! and thats when the green man is already ON and pedestrians are crossing half of the road!!! How bad can this be? So sometimes read on papers pedestrians get hit by cars. Its those idiots who refuse to slow down upon approaching traffic light. Plus. this is not an excuse of amber changing to red on driver's traffic light. its amber to red for a while and this idiot decided to beat the red light AFTER applying some brake. other cars all have stopped and they are like 5cars distance away when this car appeared.

So as a gentle reminder, i will like to remind everyone to pls open yr eyes clearly, dont talk on handphone or SMS when you are crossing the road. walk over only when the car has stopped in front of u @ traffic light junction.

life only 1. if the idiot hit someone, they can just say sorry, remoseful and all kind of shit but the pedestrian is the one worse hit. and DONT shake yr butt and walk slowly, chatting with friends etc at traffic light junction, zebra crossing. its irritating too

oh yes, another thing that gets on my nerve is ladies NOT flushing toilets after using it! Or leaving their blood stains for show!!! Where's the manners? Wipe and make sure the toilet is clean/flushed before u let another one use! If its already dirty before u go in, then ok but otherwise, pls do it if u are the one who make this mess! I once went into a cubicle with blood etc....... and i tell the lady nicely that toilet is not flushed and she went in and flushed. other times young teenagers or adults ard my age. I wonder where's their hands and eyes? Dont rely on automatic flushing!

I went for a movie yesterday... A guy with a child were sitting behind me and my SO.... The fat guy keeps on coughing and worst he never even cover his mouth. Imagine the kid pick it up from him?! So unhygenic and such a basic courtesy also dunno.... I am like getting the cough virus soon

MY NUMBER 1 PET PEEVE:

Any crowded MRT station esp during the morning rush hours, when there are hoardes of people travelling on the escalators, I simply HATE those inconsiderate pricks who have reached the end of the escalator and for no good fricking reason at all, they start turning around to chat with their friends/husbands/wives or have a sudden incoming call on the mobile and they lose their attention for a while to concentrate on that bloody phonecall, thereby SLOWING DOWN and causing a massive pile-up of people RIGHT BEHIND THEM.

OR those parents who are pushing their baby strollers and when they reach the end of the escalator, they stop suddenly just because their little one is crying or whatever, I mean, please, you can always step aside to pick your baby up if your kid is making some big fuss, but please don't STOP SUDDENLY to cause the people behind you to step on one another and cause some casualty, especially if your stroller is right there, it is so darn dangerous. People can fall over and hurt themselves real badly.

I have had a personal encounter with this dumbass couple after a late night movie at the Lido cinema in Orchard. Me and my ex were on the long escalator fron the 5th level going down to the 3rd level, right in front was this lovey dovey couple who suddenly stopped walking when they reached the end to give each other a hug?!?! I mean.. WTF!! Me and my ex had to brake suddenly to avoid crashing into them, but somehow it was too late, and I knocked my nose into the stupid gal's back and she had the audacity to turn around and "tsk" at me...

Yes, there are so many inconsiderate ppl that we encounter everyday.

1) Neighbours who simply cant throw their rubbish into to the rubbish chute but simply leaving the rubbish on the floor next to the chute. Dunno what's their problem on this?
2) Drivers who insist on cutting lanes without signalling even thought there is not much space infront. The ALSO expect you to give way to them just because they want to do a lane switch. It's so inconsiderate and DANGEROUS
3) Drivers who anyhow park, taking up 2 parking lots instead of 1.
4) People who hog both sides of the escalator instead of standing on the left.

Nope, theirs already emitting lotsa greyish smoke in the tin already and no one is attending to it. She only burns, go back to her house, slam the door and leave it all the way till evening time when her hubby comes back to tidy the corridor. She dont even care if its done burning, whether some naughty kids throw things into the tin etc etc (Btw, we always find sweet wrappers, icecream wrappers thrown at our plant pots, mum's plant got cut off etc. I once caught a little kid by spying at the top window. He ran off very fast after i accidentally made some noise. With these notorious kids around, how can we be sure that things left burning inside the tin wont be burning else things?). Furthermore, covering it certainly does help in prevention of air polluting when she is done with the burning. If not all the ashes will be flying all over!!!!! And my mum has to vacuum the floor again and again!!! She has no common sense!

She doesnt know that shes staying in HDB flat where theres about 70% elderly residing here! She wants them to have breathing difficulty or what? Even my sister who has asthma has to tolerate it!
