Lunch alone or simply don't have colleagues of the same waveline?

Eating alone is fine by me, at least I get to eat what I really want. Don't have to eat at places that don't fit my budget or taste bud.

Quite true, when you lunch out with your colleagues, may have to give in to them as they want to eat at certain places and the food may not suit everyone.

i've no problems eating alone... since most of the time since i started work, i tabao and lunched in.... i hardly eat outside due to the hot weather...

but partly, it has to do with the office environment here... we go lunch separately... the accountants will buddy together (or accountant with the HR)... hardly a times, the accounts assistant goes to lunch with them or the bossess so i think i adapt pretty well to this kind of arrangement..

My colleagues are more of those aunties type, they love to gossip about other colleagues and even other people from another department. I can't stand them seriously, so i rather lunch out alone at times. Some days when my friends are free, and they are around the same area as me, we will meet up for lunch.

me too.. thank goodness i've a fren whose working in a building nearby, when her boss is out of town, we will lunch together...
and when we do, usually lunch takes 1.5hrs instead of 1hr... LOL!

Thats quite a long lunch break, nice.
We can't lunch out for that long, if we were to do that, other colleagues will start to talk behind our back.

new to this thread. looking for lunch kakis at CBD area.
just joined a new co, my dept all are expats, only me and another guy who are local. lunch time all expats went out tgt, left me and the guy but sadly he is the driver for my big boss, so left me alone.... sigh.
