First, use primer as a base for your eye makeup to prevent products from sliding or creasing.
I use cyber colours BB cream as my eye concealer because it's very thick. Use either your fingers to pat the product on your skin or use a brush. In my case, I'm using Essence of Beauty concealer brush to apply the concealer on my eyelid and use the foundation brush to blend it in.
Next, apply a sliver eyeshadow on top of the lid. Pat the colour on your eyelids instead of swiping them so that they would look pigmented.
Apply silver shimmery dust on top of your sliver eyeshadow to make the eyeshadow stand out. I use my fingers to dab on the dust and use a dabbing motion to pat the dust on.
Use a blending brush and apply a matte brown eyeshadow (black ones will do too) to the crease of your eyeshadow. Blend it well with your silver eyeshadow.
Use your finger and apply a little bit of shimmery eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes to brighten up the eyes.
Apply eyeliner. The eyeliner has to be a little thick and do a slight wing at the end for a pin up girl look.
Finish up with either mascara or fake eyelashes. For fake lashes, please choose the ones that looks natural because you want your eye makeup to stand out.
** It is advisable that you finish your eye makeup before putting on your face makeup as the dusts would fall all over your face.![]()
i super like the eyelid contouring and liner in this look! i'm inspired to practise more now!
You have a really gorgeous set of eyes! Love the look! =)
Wow... asterweed.. you look fantastic.. I never know how to apply eye makeup as I have single eye lids![]()
Your eyes looks so nice and the make up applied perfectly and clean. I was amazed because in my skin its like that style of putting eyeshadow at the lower eye part is not working. I dont know why maybe I am not that talented on putting makeup on or my make up itself doesnt work with my skin type and color. LOL! That is so depressing.... Are you wetting the brush to make the eyeshadow work and make it long lasting???
Looks good :D
I didn't wet my brush because I want the shelf life of my eyeshadow to last longer.
To make your eyeshadow long lasting, I recommend you to use a primer as it helps to prevent makeup from sliding and also provides you a smoother canvas to work on. A good eyeshadow primer which you can use is Urban Decay's Primer Potion for eyes. Can be found in Sephora. A dupe to that is ELF's Eyeshadow Primer, though you have to wait for a few minutes for it to be totally dry to start working on your eyeshadow.
Practice makes perfect so do practice more on the shading techniques!
