2010 First FOTD

Hi, it's been ages since I've posted an FOTD...
So here goes, first FOTD for 2010

I was inspired by a spread of Ayumi in June edition of Sweet magazine.
The look seems simple, but it's not simple at all!


Thus, I've came out with my toned-down version:

For eyes I used a mix of Pure Luxe pigment, Coastal Scents 88 eye shadow palette & MAC Phloof eyeshadow as highlighter.

I lined my top & bottom eye with MAC Blacktrack Fluidline.
Mascara that I used were Maybelline's & Fasio's.
And cheap Taiwan falsies

Blush is Blushing Bride from Pure Luxe
Lip colour is Cutester from MAC Hello Kitty

Though the makeup doesn't look quite like Ayumi's...I still think you did a great job!!

You would have looked so much like Ayumi with a paler blusher and nude lip. However, very cute look on its own!

I like the 2nd last photo: the warmish colours of your makeup go perfectly with the lights in your hair. I personally always prefer corals to pink so I like the colours you used. Maybe, to prevent from looking too matchy-matchy, you could tone down one feature or play up one feature. You could try clashing 'warm' colours like peaches with 'cool' colours like candy pinks.
