Hi Koakuma, I only own one tube of Anna Sui lipstick so far, but rarely use it as i got it on impulse and found it a bit too dark for my liking. hence i mixed with a lighter pink lipstick to tone down the intensity. Have not really worn it alone much, so might not be able to tell if it's very drying. So far I recall wearing it once alone, but I found it quite alright.

From my understanding the older lipstick range which i bought from (the one that comes in translucent/ transparent coloured caps) comes in 3 to 4 different effects. I bought one form the glossy range, iirc. the matte range might be more drying, perhaps.
