FPL Permanent Hair Removal

Hi, babes. I want to do a "research" on this topic as I am looking for salons or clinics where offers cheapest price for this service. I am more interested in hair in underarm, arms & legs.

Any recommendation? It will be very helpful if I can find somewhere offered good service, effective results & cheap as well. I went to Beauty Express to have my underarm hair removal. They charged me several thousands on that, however, there are still some fine & long hairs in my underarm.... I don't want to waste too much money on that now....coz I am tight in budget now too...

IPL.

Underarms. $440 for 3 sessions. That time they had a 3-for-3 promotion. So total I got 6 sessions for $440.

The promo ended already. Promo is by Specialist Shopping Ctr; they distributed the coupons outside John Little. So might want to keep a lookout; they might have another promo again.

4. Is the service good? How do u rate the service in the salon (from 1-5, 1 is the worst and 5 is the best)?
Service is really good. Jill Lowe is an image consultant who branched into beauty services. Many companines like Citibank, DBS, Giordano, China Airlines, Japan Airlines, SIA etc engaged her services.

I've done 4 treatments so far and hair growth has slowed down.
They do tell you that there is no permanent hair removal. What permanent hair removal do is just to slow down the growth. It takes a lot of treatments and years to actually stop hair growth altogether. With IPL, some have had hair-free period ranging from 2-5years, depending on your body. At least they're honest about it.

I read Hairaway's website and they also said the same thing. Trust these people more than salons like Expressions and Jean Yip who guaranteed totally permanent hair removal because there is no such thing.


5. Any tip given to have a great deal with the salon or clinic that you recommended?
Ask for Diana. She's the specialist in hair removal.
Just be nice to them, and they'll be nice to you back.

Thanks for info, zjaninez. I wish I know this salon early..... S$440 for 6 sessions is very cheap. I had spent several thousands in BE. Although the growth of my underarm hair had stopped (not all), I only know that this is a non-guarantee service after finishing all my 8 sessions.

Maybe I should consider re-do FPL few years later....... :piss:

Their prices are really low. Arms or legs cost under $500. In fact, the most expensive I saw was arms/hands and underarms, $800, IIRC. Biniki is $550, IIRC.

Another place I heard is a clinic in Jurong. Heard the doc there charges $100/session. He's a GP.

I think I was the victim been charged for S$400 per session....

S$100 per session is very cheap. is it FPL as well?

It's IPL. But I think IPL is similar to FPL.

Are they exactly the same but just different terms? I am looking for a good place for hair removal too. This Bella place (endorsed by Fann Wong) is just too expensive IMO.

It's called Summit Clinic, near Jurong east MRT I think. I'm afraid I don't have more details. The doc is Daniel Liew. I think he should be listed in yellow pages.

Queenie, how much does Bella charge per session (let say for underarm only)?
