    Zicon BAGGU Back Pack

"A classic canvas backpack for books, a laptop or a bike ride. Unisex so it's for everyone! The best part is, they come in a variety of colors, plus they're easily personalized w/ badges, keychains & the like.. Time to get creative!"

What do you think? I'm lemming for a red/nutmeg one, so I was thinking of holding a spree for it to share the shipping fee etc. What's your fave color??

I've joined a BAGGU spree before, and shipping was like 40cents for each bag? But I got the duck bag instead of backpack, and I love it so much! Super versatile, and matches with most of my outfits. :D

Oh i joined at some spree community, i think it was _spreee i believe, but Baggu sprees are pretty hard to come by, so I think it would be better if you organise one yourself. If it helps, I just pm-ed you the cost break down that i retrieved from my gmail :D

edit: I'd just checked the baggu site, and they stated that intl shipping is flat rate 15bucks (used to be 10 though). This can be found under the FAQ section

I knew about the flat shipping rate, but gosh thanks so much for all this info! This is very helpful to me, so I hope you don't mind, but once my online store is up & running next month, I'll be sending you a code for $2.00 credit. (:

are baggu bag comfortable to carry, the straps look quite thin with no padding? can withstand heavy stuff, eg laptop? feel like getting the bagpack with the front pocket.

I've yet to try the bags on in person, however I am very taken with the design, so I'm going ahead with buying the red one w/o a front pocket as a laptop bag. I will let you know as soon as I receive it and am able to try it out.

I've to say though, the canvas material looks pretty hardy and durable to me, so I'm hoping it'll meet my expectations.

not yet, but i'll let you know when i do! if you want you could follow us on twitter (@illuminateSG), we usually update there first and foremost.

i suggest navy btw; stone might get dirty more easily since it's almost white.

These Baggu bags are made of recycled cotton canvas FYI. As for bags that are similar in design but made in leather, I'd suggest you could try browsing around TaoBao or GMarket.

hi lovegood, sorry for updating you so late! i just got my very first baggu backpack (the red one w/o a pocket that's on sale!). feeling so lucky, my baggus just arrived yesterday from california & the old red one that i got is now OOS!

anyway, re. the comfort, it's actually pretty gd! i thought the thin straps would cut but surprisingly i carried it out the whole day and they didn't hurt! in fact i actually relieved from having to carry my 14" laptop in a tote (it was awful). i was wearing a cardigan half the time btw, but i did carry it around while wearing a tank top and honestly? it shouldn't be a problem. the quality & stitching of the bag is lovely too, and the best part is (i just found out from reading the tag it came with), they're machine-washable! (:

just fyi, i've a navy backpack in stock (old version w/o front pocket), but if you've changed yr mind i'll be opening a spree this saturday, and will be closing it asap (3 days after Baggu restocks?) before all the colors that are currently OOS run out again. :x

hello, sorry but i missed your post! the backpack pictured below is blue, the one above is nutmeg. i currently have the blue backpack in-stock. it doesn't hv a front pocket unlike the new version though, which is why it was on sale. i've had to jack up the price to $35.00 to encourage pre-orders and due to un-forseen costs.

hi!! so sorry for the late reply, i havent been checking this forum often. actually i have gotten the stone colour (with front pocket) off a brick and mortar shop. was torn btw navy and stone, went home to think about it, and the next day i went back, navy went oos, only left stone. so i left with the stone version since i kinda need the bagpack urgently.

unfortunately i kinda regretted getting stone now cos like u mentioned earlier, stone gets dirty more easily, and half the time i was so conscious about dirtying my bag. but i have to admit that the colour is really pretty, except it gets dirty much more easily, and it will be more obvious than the navy one. so im actually thinking of selling off the stone one (which i just used very lightly), and go get a navy instead but am not sure whether anyone wants to buy it. sigh. i ever saw someone carrying the stone bag outside and there was dirt marks all over the person's baggu and it was quite obvious.

i quite like the bag, its really sturdy, but the straps might hurt your shoulder after prolonged carrying, but it will only hurts if you are carrying really heavy things, but so far so good. i really like the design a lot, very simple yet versatile, matches with almost everything you wear.
