Fully agree. A person's worth is not based on what bag one carries. Being poor or rich is not defined by which bag you carry. It's a sweeping statement, and a bad one at that. It's quite a pity really, because without her LVs, there's nothing much more to define her.

Let's not bash poor LV on this. LV has still some nice designs although I will never buy one as it's not really me.

I think that friend is too deluded in her own materialistic world. I'll like to point out to her that many of the leaders in the Fashion world and those on the best dressed lists do not deck themselves head to toe in branded designers (Chloe Sevigny for example). A really fashionable and tasteful person can mix and match clothes easily and still stand out becasue she wears the clothes or not the brand wears her.

Designer bags are everywhere in singapore and it soo common nowadays. Carrying a branded bag doesn't dictate who and what you are...

Those really wealthy rich ones don't flaunt their wealth this way...they are usually very low profile! It foolish and bimbotic and absurd to think by carrying/owning a few designers bags means you own the world!

I reside in the District 10. But i still wear my washed out/faded tee shirts and shorts when i go to the market and i carry my trusty recycled bag from goodwoodpark hotel for marketing trips...are people going to judge me that im poor and tasteless?
