Can anyone recommend a good drycleaner for bags? I have a bag with fabric for the main body and leather for a bit of the upper portion and handles. It needs to be cleaned badly. A few drycleaners I have approached did not want to take it because of the leather as well.
Where do u live?
Well I pass by this laundry shop sometimes near my place, can help u ask. I haven't seen that many laundry shops around. Or u can check the yellow pages, save u the hassle of going there only to find it doesn't accept.
HTHs!
Hey Gloria, I was just looking for this shop as I saw it on TV.
Any reviews on their services and pricing?
Heard before there is a place at Siglap area that provide cleaning services for bags, alot of branded shops ecommend their customers to bring their bags there for cleaning. Anyone happen to know where is the shop? TIA.
Thanks gal. Will go and check it out.
hi, any idea where or which shop provide hand bag dry cleaning ?
thanks
Very upset with Leshine. Brought my Loewe amazonia suede to them cos I stained it using a nubuck cleaner. It was moldy and I tried to clean it. Not only did they not remove the stains. Now , the other parts of my bag which was not earlier affected have black stains too!! They told me it was cos my bag was moldy. OMG!! I borught it to them to clean and they made it worse cos my bag was moldy!? By the way, they wanted to charge S$75 to clean the bag. Minimum is S$50. Going back to Loewe to check how to rescue my bag.
sanssoul28 : Gosh, that sounds bad!Did you ask for compensation, or at least a waiver of the cleaning fees?
She said she would treat this bag as a "reject" ie she didn't charge me. I am not sure what to do now as this bag cost me a bomb. I am going back to Loewe to check how much it will cost me to make good the bag. I found this site cos I was looking for a solution. Glad I found u guys. Should have read the thread before I used the nubuck cleaner.
i can't find the information about this shop in Raffles Place that does cleaning for branded bags.
apparently they are the official cleaning providers for Coach, LVs, Guccis in singapore
anyone can help?
Alya the only one i know of now is at china square central, called colorwash, recommended by another cotter (not too sure if in this thread or elsewhere).
recently i sent a beige agnes b. bag to them for cleaning and removing of certain stains etc. not too bad, it came back looking quite clean. but the service doesn't come cheap. i paid $50 for the cleaning, which coming to think of it now i thot might not have been too worth it for the bag which i paid about $200 for. maybe it will be more worth cleaning the more expensive bags which since i've already paid $1-2K for, might as well put more money into them by maintaining them well...HTHs!
thanks so much Verena
I m planning to send in about 6 bags, each about 1-2k
so i think if the service is good and results are great, I am not too worried...
thanks so much!
i'm going to check them out![]()
you're welcome! i didn't ask them if they charge different prices for different types of bags or cleaning to be done. but i'm planning to send more bags to them too, cleaning/repair..
it's on the first level of china sq central, opposite spinelli's (near to the side where the water feature is). i think they open on mon-fri from 11am-7pm, and sat from 11am-4pm. there's another branch at siglap too.
There is a place called LeShine at Far East Plaza that clean shoes and bags. They do a pretty good job. Here's their website
http://www.leshine.biz/
The do all brands of bags, including Coach, Prada, LV, Fendi, etc
i have the address for colorwash
1. 18 Cross street #01-01 China square Central
2. 55 Siglap Road #B1-02 Siglap Centre
They also have an outlet at market street carpark....
