Definitely Coach. It is dirt cheap in USA. Other interesting brands to look out for are Botkier, Treesje and Rebecca Minkoff. Their leather quality and designs are awesome!

heard marc by marc jacobs can be really cheap in the US, is that true? at the boutiques or only at the factory outlets? what abt brands like miu miu, prada etc? cheaper in NYC?

millly: replied you about Miu Miu in the Miu Miu thread already. MBMJ is cheaper in the US in the stores itself and it has special items that are available at the MBMJ stores that aren't sold here in Singapore. most branded items are not cheaper in NYC because of the high sales tax (and you can't get tax rebates even if you're a tourist). however, at the factory outlets, certain brands become dirt cheap. esp coach and juicy couture and longchamp. but if you're aiming for the luxury brands, the factory outlet at Woodbury does not have much variety and you'll be lucky if you can find something nice. hope it helps
